The warm, oceanic air washed over her senses as she jogged along the beach. She was a
blur, to most people. A gust of wind, causing papers to fly everywhere when she passed
at full speed. She stopped to put her brown locks into a bun, her signature hair style. She
was only of 13 years of age, and still in school. Today was a Saturday. Most kids would
be snoozing at 6:00 AM. But not Taylor Wise. She would rather keep in top physical
shape. She started up her run again, taking in the air as she ran. Tampa Bay, Florida was
the place to be. Her chestnut eyes were wide open, guarded by a pair of slim glasses.
Usually she put on contacts, but she felt lazy that day. Unknown to her, the shadows of
Two men loomed behind her, trying their best to keep up with her speed. She abruptly
Stopped, as she sensed someone following her. She spotted a palm tree and jumped
behind it, as two men came screeching to a halt where she had been. "Where did she go?"
the one with bushy eyebrows asked the other one. "I don't know. But if the list is correct
in saying that she is a mere teenager, then we need to find her before Sy…" The other
didn't finish his sentence. Taylor peeked up from her hiding spot and eyed the two. Who
were they? "Don't worry Mohinder. Sylar isn't that cold hearted, at least I don't think at
least. We will find this….Taylor Wise. Her power could really help us on our journey. I
just know it." The bushy eyebrow guy said, with a glint of evil in his eyes. Taylor stood
up, looked at the two, and smirked. If they wanted to get her, they would have to catch
her first. She started off in a slowish sprint, looking behind her. They were following. She
then sped up to her top speed, not noticing the lamp-post in front of her. BANG the
sound rang out as she crashed into it, causing her to pass out on impact.
