Chapter One: A Mission

She was nervous, horribly nervous! She never had the nerve to propose a mission to her teammates. Now, she had to ask them if the mission is something they would help with. They never will go with this. Just as she turned the corner there they were in there usual spot. Both of them look up when Akamaru barked at her.

"Hey, Hinata!" Kiba barked out.

"Hello there Hinata." Shino said still in the same spot, while Kiba gave her a huge bear hug. "What brings you here so early in the day. Kiba and I were just sitting around to catch up, before you came."

"Well...I was just..ummm...wondering if you two would accompany me on a mission." She said, trying to not seem nervous around her friends.

"I will! Me and Akamaru need a mission to go on." Kiba said. "What is it for. Wait, its not another missing ninja mission is it!"

"N-No, its a mission to do with the S-Sp-Spring Festival." She said look down at ground waiting for Shino to say no.

"As much as I hate the Spring Festival, I'll go." Shino said getting up to look at a spider web he saw in a tree.

"Great!" Hinata screamed jumping up and down.

"On one condition, you don't try to get me to go this year." He said. Hinata almost screamed! She had only got him to go to the Spring Festival, because she begged and begged each year. She says its good for him, but he doesn't think so. Plus, she always loved seeing him in the tux he has, but would never admit it to anyone.

"Fine! But you are coming to my sleep over after the festival for just team 8, right."

"What?" Shino and Kiba both exclaimed.

"Oh!? I didn't tell you about the sleepover, did I?"

"No."

"Well, it's just gonna be team 8. So will you come."

"I will be over after festival!" Kiba said.

"OK. I'll come." Shino said looking at Hinata. "Well, we better get packed for the journey tomorrow."

OK. Bye!" Both Hinata and Kiba said walking away leaving Shino there staring at where Hinata had been.

OK! How was it. I'm new at this and I don't completely know where this is headed, but I have a few chapters written out.
