Til I Forget About You

Kendall Knight has not forgotten about his first love, his first kiss. That's what hurts the most. He wanted to forget about her and just move on but he can't. Memories of them together and random facts about her would just pop into his, that pained his heart and sometimes, he would cry silently. The room was silent; all he could hear was the silence of the night and Logan's soft snores. He stared at the clock and it read 00:48. Time to go to sleep. He thought. But he just can't. Every time he closes his eyes, memories would just come flooding back. Not just any ordinary memories, memories of what happened they said those three words.
Flashback….
Kendall Knight and Jo Taylor were having one of their picnic dates. They lay beside one another, heads side by side, and his hand on her stomach. Jo was smiling like mad; she had the love of her life beside her. What more could she ask?
Kendall was lost in Jo's beauty. The way her blonde hair shines under the afternoon sun, the way her brown eyes (1) reflect her bubbly attitude. "Kendall? Kendall! Are you even listening to me?" Jo exclaimed while snapping her fingers in front of him. Kendall snapped out of his trance and found that she's already sitting up. "Hmmm?" he asked. "Sorry, you kinda zoned out a bit." "It's okay."
Those words were trapped in his mouth, every time he wants to say what he really feels, the words just don't come out. But now, this is the time.
"Jo? I have something to tell you." He said and the blonde immediately turned to face him. He held her arms and said with his heart, "Jo Taylor, even though we had gone out for a short period of time, I just want to say that, I… I Love You" Jo looked at him and the grin on her face got bigger. She hugged him and whispered into his ear, "Kendall Francis Knight, I Love You too." He pulled away and pecked her on the lips. The happy couple grinned at each other as if they were fools.
End o f flashback…..
"Kendall? Are you okay?" Kendall was snapped out of his thoughts when he saw Logan standing beside his bed. Logan had just gone to the toilet and returned to see Kendall lying on his bed looking miserable. Logan hated to see the strong leader of their group so sad. Kendall wiped away any stray tears on his face and said, "Yeah man, go back to sleep." But Logan isn't buying any of these lies. "When are you going to get over her?" Kendall shrugged and Logan went back to sleep, feeling fed up.
Deep inside Kendall knew that he couldn't party like a rockstar to forget all about Jo. So, he turned to the picture of her on his bedside table and whispered, as if he was sharing a secret only for their ears.
" Till I forget about you."
