Hi, I'm back! I'm so sorry, I've been so snowed under by school and all that stuff! I'm 13 now and although Sam and Tom have left, this is a fic about them. I don't own any of the characters or anything so yeah! Xx hope you all enjoy and please leave some reviews and ideas on what could happen next! Xxx

Sam lay on the bed, tears rolling slowly down her cheeks. She'd just woken up from a nightmare. It had replayed in her brain every night since the attack. She hadn't told Tom, because she didn't want to worry him. Sam just lay there, feeling numb and empty. Tom walked up the stairs and saw Sam's tears. He sat down next to her and wiped the tears from her cheeks and sat her up slowly. The dressing was peeling away from her neck so Tom gently pressed it back on. Sam winced slightly as he pressed down on the wound but she tried to hide the pain. "How are you feeling Sam? Are you sure that you're ready to get back to work today?" Tom stroked Sam's hair as he spoke. Sam just laughed at him. "If I spend another day at home, I'm going to die! I'll be fine, just go and get ready. I'll be down in a bit." Sam said laughing at her husband. Tom laughed, but he was unsure. He slowly got up and grabbed his clothes off the chair. As he walked into the bathroom, Sam got out of bed. She felt wobbly but she tried to ignore the nauseous feeling in her head. She took her tank top and shorts off and picked yesterday's clothes off the floor. Tom walked into the room, smiling at his wife who was stood in her bra and pants. Sam went red and Tom felt guilty. He told her that he would make breakfast and walked down to the kitchen. Sam put her clothes on and went to the bathroom. She stared at herself in the mirror. She tied her hair up then reached for her make up bag. The foundation went on first and then she did her eye make up slowly, taking her time. Tom called up to her. "Sam! Pancakes are ready!" He shouted cheerfully, and Sam smiled. She walked down the stairs and hugged Tom. "Thanks Tom! I can only see about 4 burnt ones this time!" Sam laughed and Tom pretended to hit her with the tea towel that he was holding. Laughing, the pair sat down at the table with their pancakes and they began to eat.

"Are you sure about this Sam?" Tom said, looking at the beautiful face of his wife. They were sat in Tom's car just outside the hospital. Sam had an appointment and then she was determined to go to work. Tom wasn't so sure but Sam wouldn't let go of the idea. "Tom, I'm not going home again. I've been stuck there since the... I'm going to work okay?!" Sam was practically shouting by the time she'd finished. Tom looked at her, and nodded. They got out of the car and walked into the ED, hand in hand.

Back at their house, someone was stood in their kitchen. Sam's attacker. Tom had broken his jaw when he found the man attacking Sam. Now he was back for his revenge. The hooded figure found the spare key in the fruit bowl and grabbed it. He noticed a letter that was laid on the counter. It was for Tom, telling him he had to be at a meeting the next day.

"She's gonna be all alone..." The man laughed, slamming the front door shut...
