Kaoru's POV (Up to Jin kidnap)
I don't know how we met each other, maybe it was destiny, but after he saved me and helped me recover I let him stay. He was the only person to stay in the house with me after a very long time.
("Love's light blue led me to you
Through the emptiness that had become my home")
He told me he was nothing more than a traveller, he didn't tell me of his past. So when the Hitokiri Battousai came to kill me; Kenshin wouldn't have stood a chance, I wanted him to get away while he could..!
("Love's lies cruel introduced me to you
And that moment I knew I was out of hope.
Kill me, I begged and love said no
Leave me for dead and let me go
Kill me, I cried and love said no")
Kenshin won.. And turned out to be the REAL Battousai! After the battle was over he went to leave, I told him I didn't care about his past, and I wanted the traveller I had met to stay! I quickly shut up, not realising that I had fallen in love with someone in so long until it was too late. Iturned round, saying he could go if he wanted... But he decided to stay, I finally had someone to love again.
("Love's icy tomb dug open for you
Lies in a cemetery that bears my name")
After a while we had met Yahiko, he was a wild kid, but Kenshin looked through the outer shell and let him stay with us. After a little longer, we met Sanosuke. After being paid by Gohey, he came to fight Kenshin to the death, knowing his true identity, as the Hitokiri. The fight was a hard one, I didn't know if he could win!
("Love's violent true from me to you
Rip your heart out and leaves you bleeding
With a smile on your face
Kill me, I begged and love said no
Leave me for dead and let me go
Kill me, I cried and love said no")
After he had beaten Sanosuke, I fell in realised if he had died I would have never been able to go on and for that I am grateful he won, and I am grateful we met each other. But Jin came, stealing me from you, taking me to make you return to your Hitokiri self!
("Love's light blue took me from you
And I that moment I knew I was out of hope... Again")
