(Jintan) It was the first day of summer without Menma. We were supposed to have a meeting today but no one showed up. All except for Menma. I said, "All right Menma, thanks for showing up, wait Menma? I thought you, but you, wait. How are you here?"
"What do you mean silly? I've always been here?"
"No? Yesterday you… Never mind. No one will ever believe me."
"Where is everyone? OH! We could throw a party for everyone to celebrate me! Oh Jintan?

"Yes of course I did it's been 10 years since you fell! After that we all split apart! We don't talk much anymore. We all go to different schools!"

Menma stood up on the fence outside my house, "Alright who's our first victim?"

"No way. She is always hanging out with her, Friends, and I also never go to school. Also call her Anjou-san. She isn't your bestie anymore, you can't call her that."
"Alrightie then. Onwards Jintan!" I ran around corners hoping I was going the wrong way; it was really hard considering I haven't been to school in forever. Then there it was and there was Anjou-san! I took a deep breath. "Anjou-san! Menma wants to invite you to her party tomorrow!"
(Naruko) I was walking to school and thought I heard my name. I stopped for a second then continued walking. Then I heard "Anjou-san! Menma wants to invite you to her party tomorrow," I turned around and saw Jintan-san! I felt tears swelling up in my eyes. That day
"Jintan. Do you like Menma." If I hadn't said that; she wouldn't have died. I started running I didn't want to get involved with her anymore. Why doesn't he go bother someone else; and why is he talking about Menma like she's with him. He started running through the road to catch up to me, he had a piece of paper in his hands and the writing on it looked just like Menma's hand writing.
