It had been sixty years since she had seen him last; He had kissed her passionately, and with that he had disappeared from her life.

A small smile played at her lips: She remembered his confession. He would always find her, and she waited. Oh how she had waited.

So she sat in their little cafe every Sunday. A cup of tea, a nice blanket as she watched couples walk in. She tilted her head wistfully.

I would wish for nothing more.

And like that she felt the back of her neck prick up. He was here. She knew it.

"Klaus?" She whispered. His lips pulled up into a smile as he said softly, "Camille."

She turned, and there he was, in his handsome splendor the same way she had always known him.

"You are still so beautiful." He said, hand caressing her cheek. Her smile was wide as she told him, "Sit. We have some catching up to do."

"That," He sat across from her, accepting a cup of tea, "We do, my love."

He sat on the couch across from her, admiring the painting he gave her not too long ago. The others kept in contact with her, when they could, wherever they were (most notably, Elijah). He had not. He had given her a chance at a normal life, and she had forgiven him for leaving her.

His heart twisted; she was his soulmate, he wasn't sure if he could live without her in the world. But Cami was eighty-something years old, she could die at any minute. He should have come back earlier, loved her sooner.

Cami wrapped her blanket closer around her, and gave him a sweet smile. His heart plummeted. She was still young and beautiful to him, she always would be.

They could have been everything.

"You could stay the night, if you would like?" She told him gently, giving him a choice. Always giving him a choice.

Klaus nodded. Anything she wanted.

She laid in his arms peacefully.

"I've lived a long time, Klaus."

"I know." He kissed her forehead. She smiled.

"I never married. It seemed like living without my soulmate was too hard. I knew you would come back."

"I'm here now." He whispered, his heart in his throat.

"Yes you are. While I have you here, I want to let you know I love you."

"I love you too." She drew in a breath.

It was her last. She just had to see him one last time.
