Author's note: I will write a full length fic one day, honest. It's just that at the moment I'm in a drabble writing mood, so I thought what is better than one drabble, how about a series of drabble. Oh and each drabble is exactly 100 words, not counting the title.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The Guilty
'No!' she screamed as they dragged him away.
She fell sobbing into Daniel's arms, petrified of what would happen to him.
It was her fault, it had been her mistake, but he wouldn't let her take the blame.
He had told her that she was their way out of there, but at the moment she didn't care; she was just terrified that he was going to be tortured, or worse killed for something she had done.
But no one gets left behind, and that meant him too, and they were going to get him back, no matter what the cost.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Punished
'No!'
He heard the scream as they dragged him away.
His team didn't realise that he was doing this to protect them. It had been Carter's mistake, but he knew what the punishment was going to be, and having been though similar before, he knew he could save them the trauma of having to be tortured and maybe even killed.
Anyway, Carter was the one that always got them home, so if she was killed they would probably all be stuck.
No one gets left behind, and he knows that they will get him back, no matter what the cost.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Observer
'No!'
I watch as MajorCarter falls into DanielJackson's arms. He looks at me and I know that he understands the sacrifice O'Neill is making for this team.
O'Neill is risking torture and death for the sake of his team, however I know that he would never let anyone hurt or kill his team whilst he still do something about it. What confuses me is his willingness to take the blame for the actions of the rest of the team.
But I also know that this team will not leave him, we will get him back, no matter what the cost.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Best Friend
'No!'
I catch Sam as she falls to the ground. I glance at Teal'c and his face tells me he understands what Jack has done, and is not going to do anything about it, none of us can, not for a while anyway. I understand what Jack is doing, and why he feels he has to do it, but it doesn't stop the guilt that I feel, knowing that my best friend is being tortured to keep me safe.
I just hope Jack can hold out for long enough, as we will get him back, no matter what the cost.
