"David, I swear to a God that may or may not exist, if you don't come sit down in the next ten seconds, I'm leaving!"
Dave snorted, popping open a bag of popcorn and emptying it into a red bowl, grabbing the salt, drinks, and chocolate as he walked out of the kitchen into the living room, grinning at Kurt.
"Jeez Fancy, you'd think you'd be a little nicer, considering you happen to be sitting in my house."
"Psh, I'd be nice if you'd hurry your ass up. I've been sitting here for like two hours."
"Actually, it's been fifteen minutes, and I just so happened to be making food for you to eat while you watch a movie that I have no interest in whatsoever."
"Oh shut up, David, you know you love Justin Timberlake, and you know you're going love this movie."
"It's going to be exactly like No Strings Attached, I know it is."
"Except this time," Kurt drawled, tugging at Dave's sleeve, making him sit down, "The actors are going to have chemistry, and end up in a beautiful relationship that we will all envy."
Dave sighed dramatically, putting his feet up on the glass coffee table, looking over at Kurt. Making eye contact, he tries giving him a serious look, but breaks out laughing as Kurt sticks his tongue out at him.
"Remind me again why I hang out with you?"
"Because you love me, and I'm fabulous," Kurt said instantly, scooting over to Dave and leaning against his shoulder as Dave moved to place his arm around him.
"Yeah, that's definitely the reason," Dave sarcastically replied, picking up the remote and playing the movie.
Twenty minutes into the movie, Dave was hooked. Kurt smiled to himself as he watched Dave's eyes flicker across the scene, smiling at the crazy things the actors characters did, laughing quietly to himself. Dave looked over questioningly, and Kurt turned his face back to the movie, having no explanation as to why he was staring at Dave all this time.
As the movie went on, Kurt's thoughts went back to Dave. Kurt knew exactly what Dave liked, even though he would never admit it. He knew he liked the color green, and he definitely had a small crush on Brad Pitt. He knew he liked to put ketchup on his popcorn, and that he had watched The Breakfast Club at least four times, although he would never admit it to anyone else. Dave cared a lot about his reputation, but Kurt knew he cared more about him than anything else. When Dave had come out, Kurt spent more of his time worried about Dave leaving him, than actually enjoying his company. But as days passed, Kurt saw the way Dave's face lit up every time he saw him, and that- that was enough to make all his worries vanish.
Dave yet again found Kurt looking at him, and leaned forward to give Kurt a quick kiss. Kurt smiled into the kiss, and Dave laughed, pulling away.
"You're extra cute today, you know that?" Dave smirked, pulling Kurt closer, as Kurt looked at him.
Not answering, Kurt continued to stare at Dave. Looking away, he began to watch the movie again.
"You know I love you, right?" Kurt whispered, not ten seconds later.
"Not as much as I love you, fancy." Dave whispered back, brushing his lips against Kurt's hair.
Lies, Kurt thought, but for now, he just laughed.
