Author's Note: Written for the tw100 prompt #200: Reverse Fandom Stargate SG-1. We had to write a double-drabble (200 words) and use an episode title from Stargate SG-1 as a prompt. This drabble was inspired by the title Fallen. I know that it's possible to order flowers in advance and have them delivered several weeks later – I just made use of that.

Sunflowers. A lot of sunflowers.

Rhys smiled at Gwen, a little on the sad side, and gave her the card that accompanied the bouquet. Gwen cradled her newly born daughter closer to her chest and opened the small card. The note took her breath away. She would recognize that handwriting anywhere.

'My lovely Gwen,

I think that, by now, congratulations are in order. You will be a wonderful mom and I'm sure that Rhys will be the kind of father every child would want to have. I'm sorry I can't be there and see your little one, but I'm sure you understand that I couldn't stay.

Jack'

She cried for an hour. Not only because Jack wasn't here, but because Ianto, Tosh and Owen weren't here either and she missed all of them so much it hurt. Rhys tried to comfort her but he failed utterly. She'd lost so much in such a short amount of time. In her nightmares, she saw Tosh's dead eyes, watched Owen dissolve into nothing, heard Ianto's last rasping breaths ...

Rhys kissed her cheek and she put an arm around him, holding on to her little family – it was all she had left.
