In the middle of the fight with one of shredders ninja's Donnie was getting tired. "Man they never get tired," he told himself. Backflipping to dodge a staff with daggers at the end of them he crashes landed he found himself at the edge of a building in New York.
He looked down and it looked like a 30ft drop, not nice for turtle, or a human for that matter. He tried to calculate a way of the situation but could see nothing but waking up feeling really hurt. "Back of freak.. you're messing things that don't belong to you." the guy in the mask started. Donnie leaned on bō "Oh please, I'd be the richest turtle if I had a dollar for every time someone said that to me" He joked.
The guy in the masked looked not impressed and fight continued.
Meanwhile ~~
"Guys do you know where Donnie is?" Leo asked his 2 other brothers noticing that smart was missing. "Nope, he said something about returning something that belonged to April and ran off."
April... don't get him wrong. Leo liked April, as a friend, he couldn't see what Donnie saw in her. He's way better than her. Wait what? he asked himself. He decided to think on what Donnie would do.
"Ok think thinks think Leo" he muttered. "Ha, I know he'd track our phone signal to see if were close by" he browsed Don's computer and tried to remember just how his younger brother does and traced his single to a street alley in New York. "GUYS I FOUND HIM"
"Man that guys knows how to hit a turtle" Donnie moaned as he pulled himself up, however, failed and fell to the floor. "Donnie!" He opened his eyes to Leo. "How did you find me?" he asked the leader who was helping him up.
"Leo tracked your signal on your t-phone."
He glanced at his leader. "Sorry, I touched your stuff. I was getting worried .. and .." Donnie only smiled. "I'll let you off."
"Anyway bro what happened?" Mikey came from behind him and scared him "Yah he's enough pain if you can't tell already" Raph moaned and slapped him across the head. "It's fine Raph.."
"Oh, this. Well, I was on my way home and one of the ninja's from Shredders army came and attacked me. That's all"
silence fall between the 4 turtles. "THAT'S ALL" Leo shouted. "You could have been really hurt, or worse" Donnie found it sweet that his brother cared for him so much. "Don't worry I was fine..." he tried to stand by himself and almost fell but caught by Leo. "Almost" he added.
"Come on let's get you home and rested." Donnie couldn't argue with that.
Once they got back to the lair Leo took Donnie straight to bed. "Sensei he will be fine" Splinter nodded at the eldest brothers remark. "I understand, I'm worried on why he didn't call you"
"Well he was fighting so he can't just.," they stopped and stared Mikey " Seriously dude..." Raph slapped himself on the forehead. "Umm. I'll just go.." Mikey then ran to his room. "Look Give this to Donnie. It will help the cuts" Splinter handed Leo a few bandages.
"Thank you father" he walked over to the room where Donnie was laying on the bed looking at the blue-masked turtle. "You don't have to do this" he smiled. "You're my little brother, I want to look after you" he claimed with a huge grin.
He let Leo sit on the bed and mend his cuts he gained from the fight. "Thank you big brother" he whispered.
