Maze POV

Pain. Then comes confusion. I wake up to find myself somewhere I don't recognize. It takes a moment for my eyes to adjust as the space around me is darker than what I'm used to, but once I can see clearly I find myself focusing on a particular spot of the somewhat open space I find myself to be in. I see a flashing, glowing silhouette not too far from me. As I try to stand I feel the strength of my legs as I collapsed to the ground. I set up and take a deep breath, then try again and find myself able to somewhat stand. As I pay closer attention to my surroundings I see rock polls erupting sporadically scattered across the vast space. I find that I may be able to use them to my advantage as I stand and use one to keep myself up. I slowly start to walk towards the thing that I think it might be a form of life. As I get closer the glowing figure becomes something that I can only describe as ghost like. I walked closer and closer and once I reach around 2 m from the spirit, I reach out and take a single final step only to find my hand go straight through its being. I stumble but catch myself. The spirit doesn't seem bothered by the fact that my hand just went right through its body. He or she has no reaction whatsoever. I try calling out. "Hey!" I yell. " Who are you? Where are we?" So many questions run through my head but I try to keep it simple. However, the ghost doesn't seem interested in helping me whatsoever as it doesn't even give me a second glance or first one for that matter. As the spirit slowly moves I start to pay more attention to its details. It's got human features and seems to be of the male gender. He wears a simple white robe and his entire being glows with the neon blue-ish light. "Hello!?" I try again. " I'm talking to you" as I wave my hand in front of his face, snapping my fingers, trying to catch his attention. I fear what little strength I have left start to diminish, so I lower my arm and slumped against the rocky poll. I give up! The guy's as serious as batman ( eh, eh? ;p). I slide against the smooth surface and fall the ground. I let out a long, exhausted sigh. I feel my eyes drop slowly, when I hear what I think is a chuckle come from behind me. I quickly turn my head, only to find nothing there. I must be going insane. I bring my head back and test against the stack as best I could. Then I hear it again. That mischievous and ominous chuckle. "He won't answer you, ya know?"

Greetings humans. I've only just started writing this story- though the plot has been present for quite some time, this story is completely different from my other story. I couldn't seem to get a start that I was happy with. This one isn't magnificent, but it'll have to do. Feedback is always appreciated.
Bye~
