"I don't," Theresa said, "but I hate certain things about magic. I hate the fact that magic killed your sister"
"Mom, magic didn't kill Candice. The wiz killed her"
"And why does the wiz exist?"
"Because of- okay I see what you're saying"
"Honey I think we all know anything is okay in moderation"
"What's moderation," Alex asked
"Well moderation is when you do something in an appropriate amount. So for instance if you have one piece of chocolate that's moderation but if you had a whole box of chocolate that's not moderation. That's overkill"
"Well what's bad about not using magic in moderation?"
"Candice… need I remind you"
"Okay… okay I'll only use magic in moderation"
