Never
by Pwnguin

the collection of automobiles start piling in;
limousines, catering trucks, & the normal cars.
teenagers of all ages head out towards the parking lot
leaving behind their o w n molded memories.

she smiles at her new found friend with her new found love(s);
singing in front of an audience, her real self inside, & Shane Gray.
she looks back at her old cabin and smiles at her accomplishments,
but when she sees h i m, she scowls.

h e takes one glance at her, and then turns back to pack h i s things;
h i s smooth drumsticks, h i s shiny guitar, & the smile that was on h i s face.
& when Caitlyn tries to catch h i s face again to get just one more look,
h e
n e v e r turns h i s head

a tear drips down her eye when she recalls the memories;
the sunset gazing, the hand holding, & that -sniff- breakup.
she looks at the colorful sign, Camp Rock, words that should bring smiles.
she'll n e v e r get good memories from the name again.

her ride shows up & her parents greet her with the normal routine;
giant bear hugs, smothering kisses, & a "how was your summer?"
she responds with the normal, nonchalant answer.
but it wasn't f i n e, you liar.

another return, another summer, another boy with the name N a t e,
& things will n e v e r be the same again.

A/N:
Is it me or are all the Camp Rock fics deep?
'Cause that's all I've been reading and the only kind I've been able to write. xP
