They had just turned twelve years old. That meant they were practically adults, right? But Master Splinter still refused to let them go topside. It really wasn't fair to Raph's mind. He wanted to see what the humans were doing. He longed to explore the rooftops so far above him. The only thing, or rather, the only iturtle/i standing in his way was Leo.

"I said I'm going!" Raph leveled his best glare, which had little effect on his brother. 'Course not. He took on that croc and we were younger then. Just have to find some other way to make him back down!

"No you aren't, Raph. We were told to stay in the lair." Leo saw Don and Mike backing off out of the corner of his eye. He didn't really blame them. Raph had started yelling at him and he no longer seemed like the brother Leo was used too. But Leo clearly remembered the trouble they'd gotten into the last time they'd gotten up the nerve to go topside, and the trouble they'd caused that kid, and he wasn't going to let Raph repeat the mistakes.

Raph growled and lunged at him, fist pulled back. Leo's eyes widened in surprise as his body moved automatically to block. Raph's next attack followed swiftly and before either really knew what happened, they were fighting as they had only done during training before, then rolling on the ground wrestling.

"Raphael! Leonardo!" The sharp voice froze both boys at once. Raph stared up at Leo as fear coursed through his body. What had he done? What had he been thinking, just attacking his brother like that? Swallowing, he turned his head to see Master Splinter looking at both of them. Raph knew that face; it meant lecture and punishment.

Uh-oh…
