A/N: A short and quick poem for my OC Sayuri and her love interest Koji Minamoto (from Digimon Frontier), this all in Sayuri's POV.

Dahil Mahal Kita (Because I Love You)
I've watched you from afar…
I don't know if you even notice when I did…
Your eyes; filled with sadness and anger…
…And yet you keep those feelings hidden quite well.
You never open up to others…
…And that's what worries me the most.
You risk your life everyday…
…And it scares me to no end.
I wish I could just walk up to you…
…And tell you; "It's okay."
But, I simply cannot…
…Because I'm afraid that I might drive you away.
I want to be the shoulder you cry on…
…Someone who you could trust without worry.
I wish I could tell you all of this…
…But, I'm afraid that you might reject me.
I've already had my heart broken once…
…I don't want to go through that kind of pain again.
But rest assured…
…No matter how much you may act like you hate me; I'll always stand by you no matter what.
I want be there for you…
…To help you through all the pain and sorrow.
And if you ask me why;
My only reply will be…
"Kasi, Mahal Kita…" (It's because I Love You…)

Yup, I'm proud to be Filipino; so that's how this short little poem came to be!
My OC Sayuri is Half-Filipino, so that's how she knows how to speak "Tagalog".
Other than Tagalog and Japanese, she can also speak English fluently.
