She left it sitting out on the work counters near the toolbox. He found it when a blob of the smoothie he was making had landed dangerously close to the decorated cover.

"Rather childish-looking," he scoffed to himself as he picked up the binder covered with rainbows and a unicorn in the center. But curiosity got the better of him and he opened up the cover cautiously. No one else was around to witness him sneaking a peek at her journal. Correction: Her so-called "Awesome Diary."

He smiled slightly as he took a sip of his smoothie and flipped to Gemma's first entry.

Dear Awesome Diary,

What a fascinating few weeks it has been for Gem and me getting to know all the Rangers!

His eyes briskly skimmed the passages on Summer's flippy hair and Dillon's brooding attitude to everything around him. These were interesting but not what he was looking for. The sound of the door to the garage opening made him jump slightly and he jerked his eyes upward. Gem and Gemma had walked in and sat down together at their workstation. Both gave him identical smiles and waves before sitting down to work on their updates to the Ranger technology. When she was busy looking at her work, Flynn turned back to reading her diary.

He grew amused at what she had to say about Scott and his father. They always had riffs in the relationship and his father always had the final say in what happened during ranger operations. So, in short, it was a lost battle from the very beginning for Scott. He snorted at her words about Ziggy and his ridiculous catch phrases. He shook his head at the thought of Ziggy actually trying to get a girl with his corny pick-up lines...not. Then he began reading the segment on him. His heart beat a bit faster but then he grew discouraged at her words. He couldn't help but jump out of his seat and blurt out angrily, "A simple mechanic? Is that what you think? A simple mechanic?"

Gemma sprang to her feet in surprise but quickly grew upset as soon as she set eyes on her open diary. She snatched up the book quickly and held it tightly to her chest. Gem stood up and strode over to stand behind his twin, a concerned look on his face.

"You read my diary?" she cried out in horror and disbelief. A hurt look lingered in her eyes at his deed. Flynn reddened slightly and composed himself quickly.

"Yes," he admitted, "Well accidently. But let me show you something." Her words still burning in his ears, he groped for a new device he created for Scott's car on the other worktable.

He held it up and began describing its function: it would give Scott's vehicle more power while conserving fuel. However as he fiddled with the buttons, the device broke in his hands, whining to a silent groan. Gemma glanced at him in disbelief and Gem shook his head. Panic settled in and Flynn rummaged around for something else to show off his talent. He settled on the 3 second car wash device and proudly held it up.

"You want your car washed in 3 seconds?" he asked the pair before tossing the device onto Scott's filthy car. The 3 arm contraption began scrubbing, polishing, and drying Scott's car as soon as it hit the windshield. Flynn watched the twins' amazed faces as they watched the device move rapidly along the car then zip back into Flynn's hands.

"Simple? I think not," he gloated as Gemma stared in awe at the contraption in his hands. He smiled before setting down the device on the worktable behind him. He studied the latest device he had been working on and picked it up.

"Now this is my masterpiece," he began as he held it up to the twins' faces, "It's designed-" His words were cut short by the alarm going off and the twins took off to check the monitor. Scott whirled past him with Dillon and Ziggy following close behind. He sighed dejectedly before putting down his masterpiece and running to join the rest of the team.
