It's the first day of the last year at McKinley High, and Rachael is going berserk. She walks through the hallways of the school staring at the others. Look at them, she thought, they look so inexperienced, so unprepared, they had no idea what they were getting into. This was the last year people, the senior year, and this year was going to be hers. She was going to prom queen and a star student and the greatest singer to ever hit this planet. Though she didn't exactly know how she going to be able to do all this with Finn being so finny, he was just sooo childish and even though they had had a great summer , rehearsing and singing into the night, she knew what she had to do, she had to break up with him. She had to break up with him and his gorgeous smile and his playful naughty eyes. Oh, it broke her own heart but she knew she had to. So as she walked into the McKinley high's choir room you can imagine how she felt surprised and shocked she felt when she found herself staring at Finn. With another girl. Kissing her. FINN WAS KISSING ANOTHER GIRL IN FRONT OF HER!
Well, you know, he didn't exactly know that she was there, but she didn't care, about anyone or anything so when she opened her mouth and screamed everyone probably peed a little in their pants, but Rachael was mad. Like really mad. And so just like that perfect little pixie Rachael, was dead. And she didn't care what she was about to do, and what she did was so good, even Sue Sylvester, who had hated Rachael from the first millisecond she had laid eyes on her (people usually don't like Rachael that much), had a little bit of respect for her. Rachael screamed and screamed and screamed till her tonsils began to hurt. NO ONE and she meant NO ONE betrayed her; she could do it to others, maybe, but others doing it to her, noooooooooo!
The other kids were so terrified of Rachael that they got the hell out there as soon as they could. And then Sue decided she had had enough so she got her microphone and she shouted, 'GIRL WITH THE WEIRD AND OUT OF FASION SWEATER, STOP SCREAMING!', and then Rachael turned and stared at her audience, with her blood red eyes and a red nose and red cheeks to go with it, as they stared back at her. And then she did something that no one, not even she expected, she started crying. And for a right reason too. This wasn't just drama, well it was, but was her drama she didn't want to share it with anyone, but as she looked at her fellow classmates, she saw something common in all their eyes, she saw sympathy. And then she knew she owned the audience. And so when her head bent sadly, she asked Finn in a whisper,' How could you do this to me?'
But when she raised her head to look at him, she didn't see pain or sorrow or guilt or fear that his whole high school life was over, she saw triumph.
Very easily, he replied. Well just as easily as you did. Kissing that mailman in your backyard. And then coming out front and telling me how much you love me. You know right now I would say,' It's not like you', but I don't know what's like you anymore. The only reason i got through those 8 weeks of pain and hurt was because of Jessica, he paused and smiled gratefully at Jessica, she calmed me, and she made me realize that not all the girls in the world are bad mean people. I tolerated you with Jesse and Puck, but I'm done now. You're a bad person Rachael and you don't deserve me, i used to think that you were better than me, i used to look up to you, we could have been so good and you just destroyed it. How could you do this to us?'
And just like that he, holding hands with Jessica, walked out of the room.
As soon as they were far enough away from the choir room, Jessica let out a laugh, "8 weeks of pain and hurt?," she quoted Finn, and then looked at him questioningly. Well i did spend half of high school with her, I might as well have learned something!.
