I miss the girl that I had to battle on day one. She was the girl that I loved. And now, I feel so lonely without her here.
" Hey Otonashi wake up!"
I heard a familiar voice. I opened my eyes slowly while the light pierces through. I saw my best bud Hinata. He was smiling sheepily like always. He must have something on his mind,figures.
" What is is Hinata? Is there something you need," I questioned.
" Yeah! You know how you loved Kanaede right?"
At the moment he said her name, I felt like bawling. Luckily, I didn't so I just nodded. Then he continued talking.
" Well why don't you fulfill your wish so you can see Kanaede again?!"
When he explained that plan I looked shocked! This is probably it! I can see Kanaede again! I really want to see her and tell her how much I love her!
" Yeah! Let's do it!" I smiled with anticipation.
((Couple of hours later))
Hinata came up to me with a smile.
" Guess what bud?! You passed all your tests with all 100%!"
I smiled so brightly. This reminded me when my little sister was still alive. I wanted to do everything for her! Then when she died I tried to succeed at school and everything! And now I have finally fulfilled my wish. I could hear her voice along with Kanaede saying 'Thank You'. I smiled and swayed goodbye as I disappeared.
I finally became an angel and looked around. I searched until I found a little girl that seemed like my love. I walked up to her and pondered, " By any chance are you Kanaede?"
She turned around and it was her!
" Otonashi...?"
She looked surprised and hugged me. I'm so happy!
" I love you Kanaede."
I kissed her and she kissed back.
This may be cheesy but... I guess this is what heaven really feels like.
