Spoiler alert! I own...Nothing!
Sam's smile was easily gained but it rarely reached her eyes. Jason had made a game of trying to get a whole hearted smile. Jason finally found the surefire way to get a smile or even a laugh. Home movies. For some reason Sam found watching her memories enjoyable. So when Jason found a video that Sam had made about Marshall Jason nearly flew to the VCR. "Did you think I was lying? I said I was evil without even trying. Already dead so I'm not scared of dying. Drinking the red from your heart in one sitting. You think you've got me pegged, you must be kidding. I raise the dead up and they do my bidding. Girl. I'm a thousand years old I'm a riddle. Bad little boy, yes I'm bad but not little," Marshall rapped (A/N: look up Marshall's grave yard rap on you tube). Jason watched the movie in astonishment. Sam had said she wasn't musically inclined. Now Jason had a video of her playing the guitar and singing. Fi, or Fionna as Jason had come to know her, sang a duet with Marshall while Sam played the guitar and helped with the chorus. Sam teared up slightly but then was overwhelmed with happy memories. After the tenth hour of memories Sam had fallen asleep with Jason following suit. Jason was floating in an apartment. Not again! he thought. After Sam had established the link Jason occasionally 'fell' into Sam's dreams. Fionna was screaming at Marshall to chose between his sister and his fiance. Marshall looked lost. For all his bad boy exterior Marshall would do anything for his sister. Jason had heard that Sam and Fiona hated each other and that Sam had cried at the engagement party but this was ridiculous. Sam knew that if Marshall had lived long enough to marry Fionna, she would never see her brother again. Sam opposed the relationship but never actually made an attempt to break it down. That was Fionna's job. At every turn she was always trying to convince Marshall that Sam was evil, and after she found the twins chosen profession she tried to make Sam look weak and discourage them from being around each other. She failed. Until Marshall died they slept in bunk beds. Jason was jolted back to the present by Sam moving next to him. Suddenly a mass of hair was near his face. Jason ran his hands through Sam's hair smoothly. Jason opened his eyes in surprise. Sam's hair was a rats nest when she first got up. So running his hands through her hair was impossible. Jason found Lakota giving him a wolfy smile. Lakota licked his nose and left. "Dafuq just happened?" Jason asked. Sam leaned down and kissed Jason. "You smell like smoke," Jason said. Sam shrugged. Jason had quit smoking when he got a second chance at life. Sam rarely if ever smoked. Sam then realized that he had probably upset her. "Did you know I love you?" Jason asked. Sam smiled. A real from the heart ear to ear smile. "I love you too. You big dolt,"
