"Ooh! They have strawberry blonde hair dye!" Kaylee squealed in delight. Simon chuckled at her excitement, while the hairdresser examined Kaylee's hair and mumbled in Chinese about split ends, whatever that means.
"Wash, cut and highlights." The hairdresser decided. Simon slipped her a few bills.
"Oh Simon, you don't have too" Kaylee gushed,
"it's my treat" he assured her. As Simon sat in the waiting room and watched Kaylee get her hair done, he could feel himself falling more and more in love with her. He couldn't help noticing how different she was from the girls on Osiris. While those girls would treat the help like complete废物, Kaylee treats them like equals. While the other girls acted very high and mighty when being waited on, Kaylee is genuinely flattered, even when she is paying them! She is like a breath of fresh air in this dark, murky world.
"Whatd'ya think?" Kaylee asks, interrupting Simon's thoughts as she flounces over to him, her hair now flecked with a light strawberry color. Simon smiles and immediately answers
"You are beautiful"
