Steven could still remember...When things were really starting to get to him. Whether he was his mom, whether the gems wished his mom was still here instead of him, Peridot still on the lose, Whether war might come to earth, Lapis still trapped under the sea.
And suddenly he was praying...not to anyone or anything in particular...Just that someone, somewhere could help him.
-And that's when a weird blue box crashed through his roof.
It was later explained by the strange old Scottish man who lived in the box.
That Steven's gem powers(plus the resonance of Roses nearby room) amplified his call for help and literally dragged them here...And for whatever reason them trying to leave at all causes all the residents of Beach city(even the gems!) to double over in pain.
After that the "doctor" and his companion vanished. Glimpses are caught of them the next few days...but aside from that nothing.
"-The least he could've done was help rebuild it!" Shouted Pearl as the Gems fixed the roof. The other gems(and Steven) didn't say anything. They were too busy stealing glances at the strange, wondrous, and impossible Blue Box that the Doctor had left at the house.
"-And then he just leaves his vehicle here!?" Continued Pearl. "Honestly I'm going to give that man a peace of my-"
RING! RING! RING!
Steven, the gems, and everyone else in beach city looked over to the town Bell that indicated a town meeting curiously...
The Doctor felt every bit of age of his thousands of years weigh heavy on him.
He thought hard on his discovery last night...on the knowledge that if he didn't leave soon...the earth would burn.
Clara watched as the people began to gather to the town hall. "Why you bringing the people here?" She asked.
"Why else? To shatter their world"...
