Bias
The crowd behind me, mostly a herd of bias fan girls who scream Sakuraba's name with enthusiasm, all shout in disdain and anger as Sena steals a pass from Sakuraba, making a run for the touch down that would put them in the lead again. Complaining, Sakuraba's fan girls screech in anger and I wince a little, keeping my eyes on my boyfriend of a year and six months, cheering as loud as I could when he finally made it (and ignoring the death glares shot at my back).
You could say I was biased too, it was true. I had never been interested in American Football before I had befriended Sena. In fact, I had never actually even thought of it. I had been all about Quidditch before I graduated from Hogwarts and had decided to re-do muggle school (and I still love the sport) but it had been the only sport I had ever been even remotely interested in.
I had tried going to muggle schools all over the world, but continued to be mauled by fans, so I had transferred to Deimon High in Japan for my second year of High School, Japan having the 'quietest' magical community in the world. It was this time that Sena ran into me.
Literally.
I had started my first day at Deimon High (a couple weeks into the year), I had walked, of course, because I wasn't too keen on gaining attention from my new, sleek silver 1198cc 1098R, a gift from an excited Sirius. It was his second year and he was late to a meeting with his football team and completely bowled me over, which wasn't hard with his speed and the fact I was only two inches taller than his five foot one.
He had apologize so many times it was funny. At the time, I hadn't known it, but he had a crush on me after that, which I should have known: the blushing, the stuttering, I was familiar to it all. Fan girls, you know? I still had a ton of them left over from my 'Boy-Who-Lived' status. He invited me to all his games and I always went and cheered him on. We were best friends after only after two months.
And then Suzuna had shoved us in a closet, because apparently his game had taken a hit with how much he stumbled and stuttered whenever I was around. We ended up making out for an hour and ten minutes and we've been dating since, a year and a half later.
So, yeah, I was pretty biased when it came who I cheered for.
I grin as Sena makes another touchdown, shouting out a cat call for him and grinning when he turns red from behind his helmet. The girls behind me—all Sakuraba fan girls—glare.
But I don't really care, Bias or not, I'd always cheer for Sena.
