The Truth… or Dare?
Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Hazel, Frank Jason, Piper, and Leo were playing truth or dare.
And it was Nico's turn. "Percy," Nico said looking at his cousin with a humorous smile, "truth or dare."
"Dare," Percy replied quickly. I'm no wuse puse he said to himself.
"Ok" Nico started "I dare you to… go play ding dong ditch on Thantos's door."
"Ok," Percy answered coolly even though he knew he shouldn't mess with the doors of death.
"You will do no such thing Perseus Jackson!" Annabeth said forcefully.
"I have to wise girl its part of truth or dare." He said softly to Annabeth.
So after calling Mrs. O'Leary he shadow traveled to the underworld with Nico. They were in front of the huge doors in no time. The doors were back with gold spiraling trim with a solid obsidian knocker and an out of place doorbell on one side. Percy dismounted Mrs. O'Leary and walked quickly up to the doors. He rang the doorbell and ran as fast as he could to the bushes Nico and Mrs. O'Leary hid behind. Seconds later death walked out his porch wearing a pink robe that covered his thick muscular shoulders and wings with pink bunny slippers to match. He had been apparently doing something with his ipad because it was in his left hand when he walked out the doors. He removed his robe to reveal the rubber pajamas he wore underneath. "What the heck?" Percy mouthed to Nico but the younger boy just stared in confusion.
"Hello?" Thantos said with obvious annoyance. He looked around and saw no one.
"You idiot demigods, I swear if I catch you…," he bellowed. "No good demigods he mumbled to himself as he stalked back inside.
Percy and Nico climbed back on Mrs. O'Leary and rode home in shock. When they got back to the clearing their friends were at they were bombarded with questions. Still remaining silent Percy and Nico looked at each other and burst out laughing.
