This fanfic is based off of Darkest Powers by Kelly Armstrong although it is in the Lyle House, pretty much a new generation with a few differences. Its in 3rd person point of view, characters/powers are:

"Brian left last night" Zoey said, running a brush through her long black hair. Brittany sighed, her curled red hair bobbing just below her chin. It wasn't uncommon at the Lyle house that kids would just not be there the next day. And the rest knew what happened; they were killed. Both girls were still in pajamas, as they'd woken up at six on accident. That, also, wasn't uncommon for them. "He was so sweet. . ." Brittany's hand clenched her white t-shirt. "I know Brit" Zoey tossed her jeans and started changing into a one-shoulder black t-shirt with a red star in the middle and slits in the back to let her wings out, jeans and converse. Zoey walked off to the bathroom, shutting the door. Looking in the mirror, she sighed seeing even darker circles under her eyes, making the blue look icy.
Quickly brushing her teeth, the teen went out to see the other girl walking out of their room. Zoey ran after her downstairs. Liz and the guys were already downstairs. Liz had her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, she had the same outfit as Brittany, and her green eyes were fixed on the oatmeal in front of her. "Did you guys hear about Brian?" Zoey asked as she sat down next to Kyle whose brown hair was unbrushed. His brown eyes lit up in curiosity.
"No. . . he wasn't in the room" Cody replied, blonde hair falling into his blue eyes as he ate. A silence struck the teens and the two girls nodded. "You guys gonna be okay for the new testing?" Kyle asked.
"Wait. . . new testing?"
