I watch the love of my life sleep as I stand in the doorway, my hand instinctively graze over my stomach as a small smile forms on my face "Morning beautiful" I hear him say as he sits up and looks over at me "good morning" I reply as I join him on the bed and lean my head on his chest "Are you okay" he asks me and I nod as I look up into his deep brown eyes, he looks into mine and flashes that grin that makes my heart melt. I take hold of his hands in my own and take a deep breath "Julian, there's something I need to tell you" I say to him knowing if I don't tell him know I will lose all courage to do it later "what is it Brooke" Julian asks me, worry clear in his voice, I look down at his hands and then into his eyes "I'm, I mean we, we're pregnant" I whisper, barely loud enough for him to hear it but he does "are you sure" he asks, his voice full of fear "yeah" I whisper nodding as I sit there looking at him, tears forming in my eyes, he sits there silently letting go of my hands and my heart begins to fill with nothing but fear "Say something, please just say something, anything" I beg him tears beginning to slide down my cheeks "Julian please" I beg him again as my tears fall and splash his knees. Five minutes has passed and still he has said nothing, the silence is becoming unbearable and I stand to leave, which is when he grabs my hand and gently pulls me down back onto the bed "we're really having a baby?" he asks me and I nod causing that grin of his to show on his face "we're having a baby" he says as he kisses me "yeah, we're having a baby" I whisper, smiling as more tears fall down my cheeks "I love you" Julian tells me as he wipes my cheeks "I love you too" I reply as I wrap my arms around his neck feeling completely safe in his embrace.
I awake from my dream to the sound of our sons cries smiling at the memory of the day I told Julian we were going to be parents again. I climb out of bed and walks across the hall and into the small nursery we have set up, I smile as I see Julian standing over the crib with Austin safely in his arms and slowly returning to sleep, he turns around a grins "hey little get, mommy came to see us" he whispers quietly to our son, I walk over to him and place my arm around his waist and stare at our beautiful baby boy in his arms "I can't believe he's all ours" he whispers to me, smiling "neither can I" I reply and stare into his eyes "I love you" I say to him grinning widely. As I stand on toes to kiss him I hear a little voice whisper "mommy" I turn around and see Emilie standing in the doorway, I bend down and hold my arms open to her and she runs into the them, I lift her up and place a small kiss on her head. Julian smiles and places a kiss on her check and leans down to give me a soft kiss "I Love you too" he whispers in my ear causing me to smile as I remain standing there with the three most important people in the whole wide world.
