Falling
"Do you love me?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"You were just a goal."
"A goal?"
"Yes a goal."
"How?"
"I wanted to see you fall for me and you did."
"Well, I didn't."
"Says you."
She replayed the last conversation she had with him.
Trying to find what went wrong.
Did she scare him off?
She must've.
For him to not love her after what they went through.
He was loathsome.
Evil.
But yet angelically beautiful.
And he knew it.
He used it against her.
Made her feel wanted.
When the world turned their back.
She was vulnerable.
She accepted his false apologies.
Without hesitation.
But now she wished she hadn't.
Since now all she was left with was a broken heart.
And a scrambled mind.
She couldn't think right.
She thought he was still there.
Being something he failed to show he really was.
Good.
Kind.
Loving.
But he proved that looks can lie.
She even thought he had grown up.
And was passed calling her names.
Like mudblood.
But no.
He hadn't.
Even after three years.
He had made her feel beautiful.
Again.
Ron was the last person to make her feel like that.
But he had died.
And left her.
To feel vulnerable.
And to fall for Malfoy.
She was a traitor.
Falling for her child enemy.
Who wouldn't love her back.
While the man who did was watching.
From Heaven.
Harry.
Could she tell him?
About all her sins?
No.
Probably not.
He would possibly disown her.
As a friend.
Forever.
It would have to remain her own dirty little secret.
About how Malfoy toyed with her heart.
And showed he would always be the same.
She would pretend it never happened.
Hoping Ron hadn't seen this from Heaven.
She would put on a cheerful face.
Tomorrow.
But now she would cry.
To get rid of her memories of him.
But at least she thought.
She was still alive.
