It's been over two decades. How do once rivals interact on a chance meeting?
For Seto Kaiba, not much has changed since he graduated. Aside from Mokuba's own graduation and his choice to have a career in politics (which he admits did surprise him), not much else fazed Kaiba Corporation's CEO.
For Katsuya Jounouchi, life had become nice and comfortable. A little rocky at first, but one strike of luck had given a life of balanced chaos. Well, a balanced chaos that was comfortable.
However, bumping into each other may change all that.
"Excuse me."
"My fault."
Maybe not.
It didn't hit either of them until both were on the other side of the sidewalk.
"Mutt?"
"Moneybags?"
Jounouchi, for the life of him, could not understand why he yelled out, "Just wait over there, I'll be right over!"
Kaiba, for the life of him, could not understand why he waited for the blonde to come to his side.
Neither knew, but both blamed the surprise of the moment and the curiosity it held.
"How have you been? Still ruling with an iron fist?"
Kaiba smirked. "More or less. You seem well."
Katsuya gave him a toothy grin. "Wanna grab some coffee?"
"In the middle of the day?"
"Never hurt anybody."
Kaiba acted as though he was thinking it over. "It wouldn't kill me."
