Choices, they all add up and what happens after is a result of those decisions obviouslys. But what happens when your choices multiply? When they start to wear you down? Or when you are given an impossible decision? Cole had to make his today.

"Cole here lies a decision I've been waiting for you to make. At the top of one of these buildings holds Trish, on the other holds multiple doctors. You can only save her or them. What life is more important, the life of Trish? Or the life of those doctors who can help save lives? Head towards the one you believe is the right one to save…." Kessler said.

Cole felt his heart stop. 'I – I love Trish but if I don't save the doctors more people'll die… I have to save the doctors. Because that's what Trish would want.' He wasn't at peace with that realization though, he ran over to the building for the multiple doctors and climbed to the top.

"Your decision has saved ten doctors Cole saving many lives, but has killed one nurse…" Kessler said. Cole saw one of the devices hanging one fell apart.

"COOOOOLE!" Trish yelled. The other one must have been

"Trish!" Cole shouted as his hand reached out missing her. He dived downward everything felt like it was in slow motion. He couldn't reach her in time, she landed hard. Cole's eyes widened in pain at the sight. He saw her lifeless body and ran over and used his pulse heal which could mend bullet wounds and more yet for her she only sprung to life.

"C-Cole?" She slowly asked in a low voice tears streaming down her eyes. Cole was holding her head up and her back up with his two hands, as he was crouched beside her.

"I'm here for you Trish." Cole replied in a broken voice.

"You're a hero, you put your needs aside for other people, you care for those who have nothing to do with you, and you look after them even if it means your life will be a living hell. I'm proud of you Cole for choosing to use your gift for good and not for yourself and I love you for that. Thank you Cole, I thought after the blast I'd die scared, or mad, or regretful. But I can die happy knowing you're doing the right thing." Trish said.

"No! I don't wanna lose you." Cole replied hurt.

"It's ok Cole I'll be with my sister. Kiss me one last time." Trish begged. Cole lowered his lips to hers and they both closed their eyes. She broke the kiss and closed her eyes gently. Cole was about to cry any second now.

"I'll miss you Cole." She said giving her last breath. Cole's whole body froze… He hugged her tightly. The love of his life was gone. Every day until this moment he wished he could be with her again with the City no longer in peril. He lowered his head and closed his eyes.

He buried her at a loved Park nearby. He had gotten a cross and a photograph for her.

"Trish I'm sorry. I'm sorry I couldn't save you… I'll miss you too Trish. I'll never forget you." Cole whispered. A faint breeze was felt rustling the leaves of nearby trees. Cole took a long breath in and out of his nose. 'Kessler's going to pay for this. I'm gonna find that sick bastard. And I'm gonna kill him.' Cole thought to himself. Cole always blamed himself for what happened to Trish. He couldn't forgive himself but if he could go back in time and choose again… He'd choose to save the doctors again. Why?

'Because that's what Trish would want.'
