You wished upon a lucky star,
I wonder, oh, I wonder, who you are?

A man, and an elf who foolishly sought,
the power and glory that Silmarils brought,

You wished upon a lucky star,
I wonder, oh, I wonder, who you are?

Ivory skin, hair of midnight
how did you escape my long, long sight?

Luthien, Luthien, oh maiden fair,
I enticed you into my lair,

You and your lover sought the jewels of my crown,
and you danced, ah, you danced in that lovely gown,

Yet you cast me out with Huan's aid,
and with your actions sealed your own fate,

Doomed to love a mortal briefly,
to pay for an immortal price so dearly,

You wished upon a lucky star,
I wonder, oh, I wonder, will your love get far?

Taken from the Silmarillion actually. I couldn't get that silly child's rhyme outta my head, and it kinda feels creepy sometimes. I know it's kinda slap dash and everything, but I'm kinda in a hurry. Feel free to comment on spellings and such, or the flow etc. I just wrote this for the sake of it hehe. For once and for all, I'm a novice writer, so I don't mind harsh critism as long as you can have constructive ones along the way. I'm a bit lazy on the spell-check, so whacking me in shape is okay ;).

Hope you enjoyed this!
