Pops walked slowly in front of Kyle and Sarah, scouting out the empty area, Skynet hadn't been destroyed and Kyle blamed himself, it was his fault. He didn't know why, but he had a feeling that it was his fault.
"Nine armed humans ahead." Pops reported and Sarah cocked her gun. Voices grew louder as the trio got closer to the group.
"For all we know, we're the last humans on earth, so if you want to go out there and be killed by terminators, be my guest, you bastard, but Baby Face is the leader and that's what she told me to do." It was a female voice, a very young female voice. A small yellow glow came from a destroyed subway line.
"Come out with your hands in the air." Kyle said almost calmly. The voice stopped talking and shadows danced on the wall as eight short figures came up from the subway. Pops shined a light on their faces and the trio were shocked to see that the oldest looking person in the group looked about 18.
"Who are you and who is your leader?" Sarah demanded. The smallest girl at the front of the group, 12, maybe a bit older stepped forward.
"Well, obviously we're not terminators, duh, I'll go find Baby Face." She said and started walking back down to the subway, where she had come from.
"Baby Face?" Pops asked. The oldest boy nodded.
"No one knows her name, so we call her Baby Face." Sarah rolled her eyes, worst name ever. The youngest girl reappeared with another figure a few minutes later. The other figure had a hood over her face, Kyle shone the light on her face, but the shadows still hid her face, she carried a gun in her left hand, wore black shorts and a black hoodie, straps covered the top half of legs, knives tucked into them. She removed her hood. Kyle dropped the torch in horror, he instantly recoiled from the girl, she had dark blonde hair and grey, almost white eyes, he recognised her instantly.
"Kyle? You alright?" Sarah asked, just a hint of worry in her stern voice. It couldn't be, it just couldn't be. Kyle leaned against a metal structure and rubbed his forehead, he must have been seeing things. Baby Face's eyes went wide, she stepped back.
"Kyle?" The leader asked in horror.
"Erica?" He replied and she almost smiled, she hugged him tightly. Everyone else looked confused.
"Please explain..." The oldest boy said.
"Sarah, this is my sister, Erica." Kyle said
