This is my first poem of this type xD
What The Heart Knows
She was beautiful, he mused,
Her long red her, her big brown eyes,
Made him feel so damned confused.

He'd watch her closely as she walked by,
If she ever smiled, if she ever laughed,
His only reaction would be to sigh.
#
She tugged at his heart in such a way,
He couldn't stop thinking, couldn't stop dreaming,
He'd sometimes just resign himself to sit and pray.

Although their house colours made them natural foes,
He didn't care, for he knew in his heart,
One day in the future he would marry Rose.
