I waited with baited breath. My first mission. My family would be so proud that I was going to be a full-fledged Cupid. I ran my fingers through my pink hair nervously, braiding it and unbraiding it, leaving it in this horrible tangled mess very different to what my sister had done to it this morning.
I couldn't sit still, waiting for my appointment with the head of missions. My bestfriend laughed at me. His blonde hair hanging in his eyes, as he sat completely relaxed in a lounge chair.
"Calm down, Eva," he said, as she pace back and forth in the waiting room. "Geez, you're the top in the class!"
"How can I possibly calm down Erin?" I asked. "Everything, rides on this! If you can't complete the first mission, you can't be a Cupid anymore!"
Erin rolled his eyes.
"Eva Mendes," said a voice from the office.
I gulped. This was it. I walked into the office, my hands tangled in the white cloth of my robes.
"Sit down," said a stern looking old man from the office. I did. My hands were sweaty. "Eva Mendez, you were top of your class, and you have a record for being the highest wedding rate for couples. So it is only natural that you receive a mission for someone of your skill." He picked up a thick file. "Magnolia High," he explained. "There are several couples in need of your talents there. You must help at least three of them."
I nodded, fully understanding my mission.
"Everything has already been supplied for your mission, you may leave immediately."
I turned and left, running out the door towards Erin.
"So?" he asked. "What did you get?"
"Magnolia High," I told him. "My quota is three couples. I have to leave immediately!" I couldn't contain my excitement. I jumped up and down hugging him. "I can't wait! Good luck on your own mission. Erin!"

Natsu ran towards his friends. "Did you hear?" he asked.
"Hear what?"questioned Lucy.
"There's going to be a new student," said the pink haired idiot.
They all understood what he meant. Everyone knew everyone at Magnolia High. The new student was going to be exciting.
"Juvia hopes it is not a girl," said Juvia. "Juvia does not need anymore love rivals."
Gray flinched and moved away from her, as the others laughed.
"Who ever the new student is," said Erza. "I hope they are a friend."
There was an all around agreement.
"They show up tomorrow," said Mira. "Let's be sure to give them a proper welcome."
