Mockery
When I was young,
I mocked the parents who brought their children to church.
When I went to school,
I mocked the classmates not allowed to pray on school grounds.
When I had a job,
I mocked those who held a bible study during lunch.
When I retired,
I mocked those who continued working in their faith.
When I grew old,
I mocked the people who believed in a life after death.
All through life I mocked those who believed in God.
And now, that I am dead and can see,
The one who hates God is mocking me.
Notes: This was inspired when I saw a supposed comedy mocking bible scripture. That was when this started to pop into my mind. As always, comments, criticisms and flames are appreciated.
