Why do all good things come to an end? Why this, what seems to be bad, actually makes us better people? Why, even if we seem not to like fighting, we miss it when it's over?
Aelita was seeking answers for all of these question, but she just couln't find them. Since Xana was destroyed, and the Supercomputer was turned down, she had a really big mess in her head. She couldn't find a place, everything was so... foreign.
After the end of "Mission: Lyoko" Jeremie has gone to another town. At first she was a little depressed because of it, but after some time she realized she always treated him more like a friend than a boyfriend.
Five years after turning the supercomputer down she was ready to her "eighteen" birthday, although she was actually older - she was thirteen when her father has virtualized her. And then she lived ten years with no conscience, closed in the virtual world without even realizing it.
The high school she was a student at was still Kadic, but it has changed a lot. It of course still was a boarding school, but they were treated more like adults than like kids.
The only one of the Lyoko Warriors who has left there was Odd. He lived in a room next to her, but since Aelita's one had two beds, he sometimes stayed at hers. They got they friendship even stronger than during Lyoko wars and Aelita started to wonder if she started to develops some deeper feelings for him... He was just so damn cute, he'd always cuddle her if she had a need to, always understood what she felt...
Our story begins on a night like this - when Odd went to her room. There was a huge storm outside, the electricity was still failing to work and so did the lights. Eventually, Aelita decided to blow a candle.
It was may, but the storm has made everything cold.
"I feel like getting sick if I don't get a blanket soon", she said and went to the closet to take one. A great lighting enlighted the whole room for a second.
"Well, maybe you'll need something more", Odd said, blushing a little.
"What do you mean?", she asked. "Aha, here we go. I found it", she threw it at Odd.
"Hey, princess, watch your moves!", he yelled, giggling. She loved this sound.
"Hey, I know there's no electricity, but I should still have my laptop charged. We could watch a movie or something", she said, smiling.
"I don't feel like watching anything but you", he answered.
What is going on here?, Aelita wondered. Did Odd just say he likes me?...
