Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or anything to do with the books. If I did own Harry Potter, Sirius wouldn't have died and I would probably be making him walk around naked for all of us Sirius-fan girls to drool over.

Warning: No warnings, just a bit of a crazed Sirius. This takes place when Sirius is in Azkaban, so that explains why he is somewhat… lacking in sane value.

Rain

Rain… Rain… forever more the rain.

It drowns the earth in its endless torrents,

Yet I am stilled,

It drowns my endless torment

Gone are the numbers in my head,

Replaced by notches on the wall.

I don't know how ling I've been here

Only stone can tell.

In the shadows lay hurt

My mind, and now my soul

They are no longer a part of me

I forgot them long ago.

I can't remember the last time I saw the sky

And the light and hope that used to fool me.

But I would gladly be fooled again,

If dark and pain would release.

I touch my skin and I feel nothing

Not smooth, rough, hot, nor cold

I don't know how to feel,

And you can feel what you've forgot.

Betrayal. Rage. Anger. Sadness.

That is all I know how to feel,

And I feel I know one thing

It is still raining.
