When Becky first felt the soft skin beneath her hands, she assumed it belonged to Adam. Only when she shifted slightly and felt the unmistakable pleat of a skirt did she realise her assumption was wrong, and panic began to build in her chest as her eyes snapped open.
Imogen.
She'd cheated on Adam with Imogen, one of his best friends, who was a girl. This wasn't good, Adam was going to be so upset when he found out. She moved away from Imogen quickly, a sick feeling settling into her bones, and became suddenly aware of another body in the bed.
Adam being in the bed with them raised so many more questions for Becky as she scrambled out of the sheets, beginning to pace anxiously.
She'd known drinking was a bad idea, but with a giggly, obviously tipsy Imogen pressing a beer into her hand and Adam wrapping his arm around her waist and assuring her she'd be fine, she'd decided to take a risk.
Which had resulted in what? Her sleeping with her boyfriend and his best friend?
This was so not right. She was meant to be waiting for marriage. She was meant to be walked down the aisle by her father to where Adam would be waiting for her, and they'd say I do and they'd kiss and that night they would go home and-
Her internal panic was cut short when she turned to look at the bed and froze, Adam was wearing his binder. He'd definitely been wearing it for too long, and he wasn't meant to sleep in it. She swallowed her pride and crawled back into the bed, carefully avoiding touching Imogen as she shook his shoulder lightly, "Adam, hey, wake up."
"Mhm, five more minutes, Becks," Adam groaned, rolling away from his girlfriend.
She huffed and shook him again, "Adam, you fell asleep with your binder on, you need to take it off." That seemed to stir somewhat of a reaction out of him, as if he had suddenly become aware of the pain in his ribs.
"Ugh, right, I'll go change out of it," he murmured reluctantly, sitting up and stumbling out of the room blindly, which left Becky sitting alone in a bed with Imogen. She didn't really know how to deal with the predicament, simply staring at the dark haired girl who lay beside her until Adam returned to the room wearing a baggy sweatshirt.
"Was she there when I left?" he asked after a moment, and Becky gave a stilted nod, "You okay?"
"What happened last night? Did we.." Adam paled and shook his head quickly, which caused Becky's heartbeat to return to a more steady beat.
"Babe, I didn't drink, I wouldn't let anything happen," he promised, going over to sit on the edge of the bed and squeeze her knee, "Imogen's just a clingy drunk."
She nodded slowly, "I.. I just got worried. First I thought I'd cheated on you, and then I realised you were with us and-" she was cut off when his lips met hers, and she immediately melted into it, hand coming up to rest on the back of his neck. His hands found their way to her hips, and she giggled against his lips as she deepened the kiss.
The moment was cut short when Imogen gave a small cough, reminding the other two that they weren't in fact alone.
"Is this your way of inviting me to a threesome? 'Cause it's weird."
