The Little Atlantean
"King Orin," Her nimble hands wrapping around his collar. It was a warm evening, expressly for this type of event. She kissed along his neck, hoping for some kind of reaction, but achieved none. The Queen founded. "Are you troubled, my lord?" She came from behind her husband, and sat next to him in the seat. His brow was furrowed, and large rough fingers pinching his temple. He was deep in thought. "Orin?"
She wont give up until he gave her an answer... With a gruff sigh, he explained. "All of Atlantis has turned out for this. What if my people are not sasified? I picked the boy because-"
"Orin," She chuckled. "From today on he his a merman He will do fine." The woman lay a hand on the King's arm, soothingly.
"Yes, but he is, well... unpredictable." His wife gave him a questionable look. "Hes got a mind of his own." The blond continued. "He's more than what he seems. That's why I picked him... I can see it... it his eye."
The Queen snorted. "Well, then. You can worry about his eye, and I'll watch the sermon." She rolled her eyes and looked down from her royal seats onto the other Atlantians. Her beautiful kingdom hidden beneath the waves. To day was the day. Today, lives would be changed as that young merman took the oath. Orin had been defistated years ago when they tried this. But she knew, that wouldn't happen again. That Kaldur'ahm was behind the stage, getting ready. Ready for his big day.
