The Fall
AN: I'll be honest, I was going to write a fic and was in the process of noting Nephilim facts and what not, and then in the most recent episode they noted them, so I'm gonna write it now… before it becomes a huge thing and I lose my chance :p I wrote this literally when the episode was on since I knew that there would be a lot of these and I had been planning this for a while and I felt like Chuck and needed to write it like the wind. Next chapter will be much much longer and much much better.
Prologue
Castiel had grown accustomed to this sort of thing, angels asking him for favors after what happened with heaven and Naomi. When an unknown brother came to him with a young girl in his hands, he looked him in the eyes as he spoke.
"Castiel, this is Callistair, but I prefer her to be called Calli. I need you to take care of her, Castiel."
This was unbelievable; did this angel just ask him to take care of a Nephilim? At the same moment, he wasn't about to ask how this came about since it did involve rather personal relations with a human. That wasn't his business, and business in heaven stopped being his business a while back.
Before he could ask questions, the angel was gone, and Castiel was left with a little girl in his arms. Thinking about the whole thing, he had no idea what to do with Calli, and he was the last thing from being trained at mortal parenting.
That's when he thought of it, Dean, he smiled at his realization, quickly going down to earth and find Dean and Sam.
As always, Dean was having an off minute and chilling in the hotel room, Sam was not there, probably out for a walk or something.
"Dean." Castiel greeted, holding onto Calli in his arms.
"Cas!" Dean jumped, "Fucking hell, Cas way to scare me."
That's when Dean noticed what Castiel was holding. "Is that-"
"She is a Nephilim, Dean. I cannot be there to aid her, Dean." He held Calli out to him, and Dean took it in complete shock. "Relax Calli is not mine, but you have always talked about wanting a supposed 'Apple pie life.' This is your chance."
That's al Castiel said, a second later, he flew off, leaving Dean to sit there with Calli in her arms, completely shock.
"Son of a bitch!" He finally exclaimed.
