Kate stood solemn at the Arlington site. The procession had just ended. The casket was being lowered. She fingered the diamond ring on her right ring finger, she took it off and placed it on her left. A comforting hand cupped her shoulder. His arm went around her back. Tony smiled at her encouragingly when she was given a folded flag. She accepted it and held it close, silent tears running down her cheeks as Tony reached around and completed the hug. Kate looked toward the sky, knowing that her favorite color would always be sapphire, her favorite place, the sea. He had died deep-sea fishing. He was shot by the very man he was looking for. His body was towed ashore and left there, only to be discovered by a young couple a few hours later. He was buried with full honors. Tony left and she just stood there as the 21 guns went off. She stood in front of the grave to read the nine word inscription:
Jethro Gibbs
One hell of a
Marine and Boss
'Yes,' she thought 'It is a wonderful day for sailing.' With that, she walked off, headed for the beach.
