The most awkward morning of my life, by Shindo Shuichi
I go into work, late as usual. I open the door and find K-san and Sakano-san sitting at the conference table.
"Finally," K-san says, "We have someone come in!"
I look around. That little bastard Fujisaki isn't here. Neither is Hiro. I smile. "Yes!!!!" I scream, "I'm finally first to be here!!!! In your face Fujisaki!!!!" Then I start to laugh.
K-san says if I don't sit down and shut up he's going to blow my head off. I sit down quietly.
20 minutes go by. Fujisaki opens the door. He's out of breath and a mess. "I'm sorry." he says bowing, "My alarm clock didn't go off this morning and I pulled an all nighter last night."
Sakano-san says it's fine. Fujisaki sits down. Damn him. I get a gun to the head and I was the first one here! He comes in, and gives some excuse and it's fine.
Damn guys still out of breath, and he's sweaty and smiling. I look at him. He's fixing his music. He seems happy to be late…
Then Hiro walks in the door. K-san asks where he was.
Hiro replies, "I just deflowered Fujisaki." Then he sits down.
Fujisaki is still fixing his papers. He blushes and says, "No one needs to know about my deflowering."
This is the most awkward morning of my life. It becomes more so, because K-san asks for details.
