First off Yusuke, Keiko, and all the Yu Yu Hakusho characters do not belong
to me! They belong to Mr. Yoshihiro Togashi.
Secondly I'd like to thank all of you people who are reading this!
And lastly I'd like to mention that Keiko and Yusuke are 20 during this
story
So now that I've finished that on with the story!
Keiko sighed as she walked into the busy shop. It was noon and her parents had their hands full with customers. Carefully slipping past the people Keiko Yukimura slipped off her sandals and raced up the stairs towards her room.
Yusuke Urameshi sighed as he sat on the black couch clicking through various stations on the television. His short black hair was greased back in the typical Japanese tough guy style. Looking over to the table he saw Hiei and Kurama involved in a chess match. Botan was floating above them on her oar. Her lobg blue hair was pulled back into a ponytail. Her bangs falling in her eyes. Turning back to the television Yusuke tried to focus on the screen, but his mind wandered back to Keiko. He couldn't remember when he had begun to love the girl with her long brown hair pulled into pigtails. All he knew was he loved her and would do anything to keep her out of harm's way. Yusuke sighed and picked up a picture from the couch side table. A very young Yusuke and Keiko smiled back at him; they stood together under a large cherry blossom tree. Her with that beautiful sundress and him with just a T-shirt and jeans. Suddenly determined Yusuke jumped off the couch and raced out the door.
Keiko smiled and fell onto her bed. Relaxing she began to fall into a deep sleep. The phone rung bringing her out of her slumber and onto the blue carpet. Picking up the phone she smiled. Her smile quickly faded as she heard Yusuke tell her to meet him at the park in ten minutes. Carefully replacing the phone onto the hook she raced out of her room, down the stairs and out the door into the crowded sidewalk.
Yusuke sighed and looked at the pond from his perch. The two ducks leaning together lovingly just made him sigh harder. " Am I doing the right thing?" Reaching into his pocket he produced the tiny black box he had bought moments earlier. Inside lay a tiny diamond ring he had bought with the money from working. (Authors Note: Ok I know Yusuke doesn't work but how else was he supposed to get money to buy the ring?) Putting it back into his back pocket he jumped down, startling Keiko a little. As he stood there before her he began to doubt if asking her was the right thing to do. Suddenly all the courage came back and Yusuke nervously pulled out the box and bent to one knee.
Keiko gasped .Was Yusuke Urameshi actually asking her to marry him? Thinking back she remembered all the times he had been there when she needed him and how much she loved him. Suddenly she felt the tears she was trying to hide come gushing out like a waterfall. Yusuke slipped the ring onto her left ring finger and the shared a passionate kiss before the sunset under the old cherry blossom tree.
4 Years later.
Keiko Urameshi smiled and sat carefully down onto the couch. As Yusuke sat beside her she sighed and lay her head onto his shoulder. They were the parents of Two sets of twins. Yusuke sat there with her something in him sighed happily. He was the father of four children and had Keiko as his wife. All was right in the world.
