Chapter 1

"I'm late" a deep voice muttered, zooming past a few unlucky strangers in a freezing breeze. He launched himself off a building and took off into the sky with a sudden burst of energy, leaving behind cold patches of ice.

His snow white hair pushed back from his face, as the wind rushed past him. His skin remained icy pale. As the teen flew through the sky at dangerously high speeds, he'd pass a few planes on the way up. He took the opportunity to wave at people pretending to be a superhero. He looked over to the passenger's side, surprised to see a kid looking at him. He felt his chest swell at the sight of a boy tugging at his parents arm to look out the window to point at him. He waved at a wide eyed kid, and continued on his way. Little did Jack know, the boy was pointing at a funny shaped cloud…not at Jack.

Soon his crystal blue eyes looked up to see North's workshop in the distance. He flew towards it in high speeds and slowed down to make it look like he'd just casually shown up. He patted down his slightly winded hair. He was about to swing the doors open, for a dramatic entrance. He stopped mid-step spotting an open window and decided make that his dramatic entrance. He flew in and started walking. "Hey guys, you wouldn't believe the traffic- HEY!" He was thrown into a red sack.

"What gives I thought we were done with this kind of treatment!" His shouts were muffled from outside the bag. He was then dropped onto the hard floor. Even from in the bag, he could feel the stares.

"Release him!" A Russian voice boomed.

"On second thought I like my bag... I think I'll stay in here" Jack said while trying to crawl farther into the sack. Unfortunately for him it didn't go as he planned, he was yanked out of the bag and placed onto the floor by the yeti.

"Thanks guys I really appreciate your kindness," he said sarcastically while looking up at the yetis. "Just like ol' times amiright?" he says playfully punching ones arm. He received a dirty look from Phil.

He looked over at North's stern face and crossed arms. With a sigh he started to explain himself when he was engulfed in a huge bear hug by none other than Santa aka North. "Welcome back Jack!" North said merrily, almost snapping the poor boys spine in half. He tried telling North to let go, but couldn't quite get the words out.

"North-"

"Can't-"

"Bre-"

"Uh mate" Bunnymund (a.k.a the Easter bunny) interrupted from the background looking nonchalant.

"Yes bunny?" North replied turning with Jack still in his death bear hug.

"He's turning purple" he stated bluntly but somewhere deep down he was slightly worried for the winter spirit...Slightly.

"Oh" he says abruptly letting go of Jack. They both stared at the teen as he was kneeling over gasping for air. With one long last deep breath he stood up as if he didn't almost die. "I'm ok" he said calmly.

"Now that you're here and well, let's eat" North said cheerfully patting Jack on the back forcefully making the poor boy stumble.

"Does he know I'm not used to this?" Jack muttered rubbing his now bruised back, after North left the room.

"I dunno, but it's quite entertaining" Bunnymund said smirking.

"Hardy-har-har," he said sarcastically while walking past him, he turns to look over his shoulder. "You know what else is entertaining?" he asks.

"What?" Bunny asks suspiciously.

"This!" he says tapping the floor in a fast motion. Trapping the rabbit's feet in a thick block of ice.

"Why you little-"

"Oh and bunny, good luck trying to move with cold feet" Jack says as he flew out the doors with a carefree laugh. Bunny looked down to glare at his now frozen his furry feet. He tok his boomerang off his back and started hacking away at the ice.

With each swing, he felt his temper rise. "When I get out, im hanging that lil twerp over a fire," he mutters getting one foot free.
