Life as a Nobody

Summary: He was a nobody. There was nothing special about him and was often left in the background. He himself thought there was nothing special about him and yet who would have thought he was the most abnormal one of them all?

I do not own Boruto: Naruto Next Generation.

Enjoy!

Hiroki Hachiro, was a nobody.

During the fourth world war, his parents weren't ninja's who fought in the war or helped in getting people to safety.

They were the one's running with the rest of the civilians.

You can even argue that the reason why they survived was because they were extreme good at running and hiding.

Hiroki had an average level of Chakra and didn't specialise in a certain kind of jutsu.

He had no special traits and that would make him shine in anyway.

He didn't even have money to truly accessories his wardrobe to make himself stand out.

He was even positive that a lot of his class even forgot that he was there most of the time.

The only thing he could say was interesting about him were his extremely interesting classmates.

They were children of war hero's, who gravitated towards the brightest star of all.

Boruto Namikaze.

The guy had it all.

The look's.

The Charisma.

The money.

The Smarts and the talent for being a ninja.

It was like the guy was the main character and he was just there to fill in the background.

It was very depressing.

Those who flocked to the guy were all truly amazing kid's around him and even the one who was not supposed to fit in with them, managed to fit in.

He never actually spoke a word to that group and he was sure they did not know he existed.

Even though they were in the same class they were living in two separate worlds.

It must be amazing being on the other side, huh?

When your a nobody, other nobody's are drawn towards each other.

However, he never felt comfortable being in the room with certain people.

He had to be honest with himself.

Sumire Kakei, the class president, creeped him the hell out.

He could tell that she was acting and yet nobody else could see it, except him.

People became weird when they were near her.

However, he did not dare to make his opinion know.

If he were to stick out he didn't want to be known as the guy who dislike the class president, who was known for her timid personality.

Another person that made him uncomfortable was the guy from the Village of Sound.

Who hadn't read about what the Founder of that village, did to the Leaf Village?

And every time he just stared at that face, he just got creepy snake vibes, which made him stay as far away as possible.

The guy creeped him out.

However, recently, he started getting sick.

It started with just one day and he was sent home but soon, even getting out of bed, sent him into dizzy spill that made him puke.

If his parents didn't call, Sensei would have no idea that one of the pupil who did not cause him trouble, was really sick.

Sensei came to his home and saw just how bad he was, before walking out of the room with his parents.

However, neither his Sensei or his parents realised just how determined he was to listen in to what they are talking about, he managed to make it to the door while swallowing several batch's of Vomit, just in time to hear his teacher say, that currently his body wasn't suited to be a ninja and his Chakra was actually all over the place, from what his bug's could observed.

If he continued to be a Ninja, who knows how much damage his body would be put through.

However, what confused him was how his parents were so sure that he was going to be okay and dismissed his Sensei worries.

It was surprising since they were the one's against him, trying to be a ninja in the first place.

Then one night, his mother came into his room with a brush and started drawing a seal under his bed, so you can image how shocked he was to see this, since he was convinced that he came from a normal civilian family.

He would have asked questions, if not for the fact, he could barely move his body and even opening his mouth, hurt.

When she walked out...

It began.

He let out the most horrific scream as terrible pain assaulted him and at the same time, the seal around his bed activated, a dome wrapped around him and the bed, and it cancelled and blocked anything that was happening within it, to the outside the world.

His sweaty skin began to ooz out something, which dripped from his body, with the liquid having nowhere to escape because of the barrier it could only build.

Soon, he couldn't even breath because the liquid was up to his nostrils and he was quickly submerged in it.

However, he did not feel panic but calm.

He was so calm that he was lulled to sleep and when he slept, he wasn't away of the outside world.

He did not know that his parents came in, every day, just to check on him.

Then 3 month's after he had gotten sick, it was like the liquid drained and it took the power that was keeping him asleep with it.

Coming out of the liquid, wasn't a screwy kid with black hair and black eyes, instead, the child coming out could have very well have been an Uchiha.

In fact, you could say that he was a male version of his classmate, Sarada Uchiha, but there was a glowing tattoo on his chest.

He did not look ordinary, nor smell like a human being.

He began to wake up.

"M-Mom?" He said, what happened?

"Of all the form's you could have chosen, Hiroki. You had to choose that one" Said his mother, confusing him.

Why did he suddenly have the urge to be a snarky to everything?

"When your father get's back, we will explain." She said, before getting out something that looked like a metal cylinder but it was covered in weird symbols that he had never seen before and a weird energy was constantly passing through it, making certain section's light up.

She placed it on his right arm and it morphed over it, the effect was immediate.

It transformed into an ordinary wrist band and he once again looked like himself.

He had so many question's, thankfully his parents were willing to answer every one of them.

# Several hours later#

"EH!?" He yelled, scaring the hell out of the ninja's running passed, however since they sensed no danger, they just continued about their day.

It was an age where it was Boruto Namikaze causing them trouble, so they didn't think twice about the other kid's.

"Your from a different world!?" He said, and here he thought his family was fricken normal!

"Son. I think we should start from the beginning" Said, his father. "Your mother and I are both from a world parallel to this one. It was a strong world; however, it was on the verge of collapse. We were lucky to know somebody who had a machine that would hopefully tear a hole into our world and into this one to escape."

"I was pregnant with you at the time." Said, his mother. "If we were going to survive, we risked it all and managed to arrive here."

"Wait." Hiroki said, trying to wrap his head around it. "Are you telling me. I come from a different world!?"

"Actually... you were born here" Said, his father. "But your roots are from another world. In our world, when a person reaches' a certain age, we undergo a transformation and we take on the form of our ideal body."

"Huh?" he said. "Wait... is that the reason why I sick?"

"Yes." Said, his mother. "We are sorry, we didn't tell you. A transformation, completely depends on the person and is different for everybody. We wouldn't have been much help"

And he could tell that both of them wanted to have a more active roll in his transformation.

It must have been killing them inside, to only be allowed to watch and hope he didn't kick the bucket.

He had good parents.

"So... what do I look like?" He said, in his mind, he imagined a super buff man who could use crazy Jutsu's and fly.

However what his mother said next made him choke.

"Sarada Uchiha" She said.

"W-What?" He said, "I turned into a girl!?"

"No. When we transform, we keep our sex." His father said, making him relieved until he realised what the really problem was.

"Why would my brain chose Sarada Uchiha!?" He said, "She is the least, I want to be like! She doesn't even know I exist!" What was fricken wrong with his mind!? He could be anybody but her!

"Maybe, you secretly like her?" His father said.

Then they were both amused when his face turned as red as a tomato.

"N-No, way!" He said, with face still red. "Can't, I just change it?"

"It's a once in a life time thing, son." Said, his mother, too cheerful for his liking.

"Your mind choses what will be the most suitable for you, depending on your current circumstances" Said, his father, before saying. "Although, we are both surprised by how you look. We didn't know that you wanted to be a Ninja so badly that it would influence your decision. Choosing to look like an Uchiha when there are so few, leads to many problems. So I hope you understand, why we have to hide it."

"Does the Hokage know?" Hiroki said,

"He doesn't" His mother said, surprising him.

"Why?" he said.

"Son. Back then, there was a giant war going on" His father said, "We only had enough power for one trip. The war made sure, everybody was suspicious of everybody. There were a lot of terrible people running about it and we were honestly scared for our safety. If we took a step forward, who know's what would have happened to us. If people know that we transformed when we reached a certain age, we were worried that something would happen to you when you were born."

"But that was 13 years ago." he said, "The Village is a lot safer now."

"Are you sure about that?" Said, his father. "Wasn't there an incident not too long ago, where loads of people were sent to the hospital after going crazy? I even heard that the Hokage was dispatched alongside the sixth Hokage, who was supposed to be retired. That doesn't sound safe to us."

"Our species can sense when something terrible is going on and even though people have stopped going to the hospital. We can still sense danger" Said the mother. "We don't want to give anybody a reason to come after us. So, you please promise us that you won't take off the bracelet."

Hiroki looked at the innocent thing on his arm.

"That bracelet is to make sure your scent is hidden and even those who have special bloodlines cannot see your true form" Said, his father. "Eventually you will learn to go without it, like your mother and I were forced to do so. If you want, we can even teach you about our world"

"Okay, I promise." He said, to think he too was special. "But, can I still go to the Academy"

"You still want to go?" His mother said, surprised.

"I still want to go even if I don't become a Ninja. I just want to learn how to protect myself." he said.

Both of them looked uncertain.

Wouldn't becoming a Ninja make him stand out and what about the Chunin exams?

But then again, their child hadn't really stick out since day one, plus there were so many brightly shinning children in that class.

Their child had missed 3 months' worth of lessons.

What was the likelihood that he would be able to catch up and graduate with the rest of the class?

"Okay" His father said, as his child smiled.

"Thank you, mom. Thank you, dad" Hiroki said, hugging them both. "I'm going to try my best"

Both of them smiled.

However, both of them had no idea that their own child system had adapted to hold the Uchiha clan's most prized possession, the Sharing.

Which he had been sporting since the beginning of their chat.

And scene!

One-shot. If by some miracle this turns into a story. This would follow the life of Hiroki and not Boruto as he tries to become somebody with his nobody group of friends and eventually his true form is revealed with the Sharingan and all, in the worst situation. Review!
