These are only short death note drabbles, so please don't complain if they are short. They're supposed to be fewer than 100 words, so work with me here people!

Near looked at himself in his bathroom mirror, examining his new style. During his most recent encounter with Mello and Matt, (which included him beating Mello's score on a test, resulting in a small blow to the head) Near couldn't help but wonder Matt's bright, red hair. Truly, it was impossible for someone's hair to be such a vibrant color, naturally.
However, his hair was starch white…
Now Near looked at his freshly colored head, just as read as the model's hair on the box.
He felt a strange new sense of accomplishment.
