At SpringField Elementary, there had been a very controversial test. Miss Hoover was grading papers and said " Almost everyone failed, especially Lisa." Lisa then said "how could you." Lisa, crying, said "who didn't?" Miss Hoover said "Ralph." Lisa the sobbed " Did Ralph Cheat at this"? Miss Hoover said "No, it was all a real test and no cheateing occurred." The day passed and Ralph later went home.
Later that day, Chief Wiggum saw his son's test. He immediately noticed something off about the test. Chief Wiggum noticed a question had a reference to the fact one question mentioned a hippo scared of water. He thought "the hippo is naked, it needs to wear trunks before going in." Chief Wiggum then told Ralph to go to school and use Lisa to find out why the test was so messed up.
Ralph convinced Lisa to sneak into Skinner's office by saying "I can give you a ticket to see Janelle Monae(whose last name was mispronounced as Elmo)". Skinner was distracted by Bart, who had egged the school while blasting death metal outside of it a few weeks ago, meaning it was easy. Lisa read the test and found the tests were given out early even though April Fools was two months away and it was only February. It listed things that were wrong on purpose like that "spiders were herbivores" or that "cows were as smart as gorillas". Lisa found the real test and brought it to Miss Hoover.
The real test was taken next week and the results were reversed. Lisa predictably got the best score and Ralph got the worst. The bad test were burned by Willie at his shack who said "thank God, that test was cursed". At the end of the day, Ralph Wiggum's illusory success turned out to be a failure. Lisa went home with a smile on her face.
