So I was feeling a bit angsty and felt like writing…so here it is.
This takes place after the season finale of R2. It features my OC, Bianca, though I never name her.
I don't own CoDe GeaSS, but my life would be better if I did.
He was gone. He was gone and I couldn't stop him. Nothing I had said or done had helped. He was still dead.
He had this planned all along, I think. Thinking that just makes me even angrier. He let me get so close to him and drug me through all of the turmoil, pain, and lies, only to die. He got off easy. He got to die and leave all of this. I was stuck, living with all of it.
I didn't know what I was going to do with myself, how I was going to survive. He was everything to me. I can't remember how I lived without him. I was lost, so lost.
My thoughts stopped as I looked up from the bench I sat at. I was in the middle of nowhere. I had left the city for the farmlands and had taken to wandering. The reason I had looked up was because a hay cart had stopped in front of me.
"Do you need a ride somewhere, miss?" asked the driver from underneath a wide-brimmed hat that hid his entire face.
"No I'm fine, sir." I mumbled in reply.
"Are you sure, miss? I can take you anywhere you like."
"No, really; I'm fine."
"Something seems to be bothering you, miss." His voice got quieter and lower.
"I'm fine, I said. Now will you please leave me alone?" I snapped closing my eyes.
I heard him get off his cart and sit next to me. "I'll ask again: Are you sure you don't want a ride anywhere?" His voice was barely above a whisper, but my eyes snapped open in shock. I turned to look at the man next to me. He tipped his hat up slightly to give me a good look at his face. Violet eyes shone from under the hat and strands of jet black hair poked out.
"Oh my gosh…" I muttered.
"So would you like that ride?" He asked again standing, offering me his hand, his face hidden again.
I took his hand and smiled for the first time in weeks. "I'd love a ride. I don't know where I'm going though."
He laughed. "Neither do I. But you're welcome to stay with me as long as you like." He led me to where the hay bale sat on the cart and climbed up before offering me his hand again. "You may ride back here, if you wish."
I took his hand and he pulled me up. "Thank you." I said, still smiling. I laid back in the hay and closed my eyes and the man returned to the driver's spot.
"Hang on!" He called to me as the cart moved forward.
Like I said, just something that I wanted to write. As you can tell, I'm among those that think Lelouch is still alive and is the cart driver during the end credits. Hope you liked it and will review.
