CHAPTER 1 : WHO IS SHE?
Chihiro and Haku saw each other one more time when she was 17, they confessed their love to each other and then after a full of passion kiss something else followed, something unique for both of them. The next morning Chihiro had woken up in her bed, although she was sure that they had done it in Haku's house. But she thanked Gods for being here or else who knows what her father would do to her.
Since her mother died in a car accident because of her father's speeding, he became violent to her. In a degree to be terrified and badly hurt. But she wouldn't mind if she still was with Haku in anyways she didn't have the time to make him promise that they would meet again. She regretted that. But now she had to get ready for school. She dressed with her white skirt , black shirt and polka dot white and black tie and wore her kneel high black shocks.
-Good morning father.
Everything went smoothly since then for a month.
Chihiro was in a great mood because of what she had experienced with Haku, her father had calmed down and school was the best thing that could ever happen in her whole life. At least for a month. After she started feeling dizzy and collapsed once so she went to the hospital, where she learnt something that turned her life upside down.
-What you have to be kidding!
-I am sorry but no.
-God, Haku, she whispered.
-Plus miss Chihiro I'll have to inform your parents , since you're under aged. And aslo as a family doctor wether I want or not is irrelevant ,I have to report this Miss Chihiro. Chihiro's blood froze. 'Oh no this is the end'', she thought ''he's gonna make me lost it and who knows what happens to me next'' she thought terrified. 'But I won't let that happens to any of us''.
-Excuse me but I would like to do it. I mean to tell my parents.
-Well you are a very brave young lady, the doctor commented with a friendly smile. Still I'll call later to check it up.
-Now if you excuse me.
No she wouldn't let anyone hurt it, her and Haku's child.'' Well it sure is a unique souvenir from Haku'', she thought with a small smile.
She went straight to her house and packed a suitcase with all the staff she needed , she took the papers that she need to use her bank account. Food and everything else and left her house with leaving behind a small note:
I am sorry dad, to learn more call the doctor. And tell him I'm sorry for not being a brave girl.
Don't look for me,
Chihiro.
She had to leave the doctor could call anytime she didn't want to risk it. And so she left not knowing where she'd sleep or how she was going to make it through, but still making sure that her father wouldn't hurt her or her unborn child.
4 years later, a 21 year old young beautiful woman was walking through a forest , with a 3-year-old baby girl in her hug. The small girl had jade green eyes and very dark brown hair.
-Hikari are you ok?
-Hai, mama.
Chihiro laughed proudly, her daughter, a unique child. She was like a Haku's copy she was her proud and joy.
She decided to name her Hikari (Light), because she was the bright light of hope that came in her life and changed it. She was very young but she knew quite a bounch of words, but there was a specific word ,that she was sure that someone would be crazy to hear, the word ''papa'' the only word she couldn't or just didn't want to say. She had been meaning to move to Spirit World since Hikari's birth but there was this only time her life had been stabilized for around two years and she thought it'd be good to keep on like that. She didn't contact anyone on the Spirit World, afraid of their reaction to her having a child with Haku, but now the tima that everything would be revealed had finally come.
She was walked quite fast.
-Mama where are we going? Hikari tried to ask interrupting Chihiro's thoughts.
-We are going to papa Hikari.
-...why?
-Why don't you want to meet him?
-I want, Hikari said with said almost tearing.
-It's ok, don't cry, I'm sure that papa will love you.
-His name...?
-You papa's name is Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi or like I and others used to call him Haku. Don't you remember the story I have been telling you? He is a very powerful river spirit just like you.
She had told Hikari repeatedly about everyone at the Spirit World, so she'd somehow feel more conected to them. She had taught her to love Haku for his kind and gentle spirit and she really had. To her, Haku was like a god-like amazing person whom she really admired. Now Haku had to learn to love her back.
Her thoughts focused on him again, why hadn't he come back after so many years? She always had the feeling that someone watched her over, but if that was the case then why didn't he never appeared before her?
They passed the red gate and entered the beautiful meadow.
-Beautifull, Hikari said.
-I know isn't it?
Chihiro's and Hikari's hair were floating in the air.
She took a closer look at Hikari , pale skin, dark hair , jade green eyes in a white blue dress.'' She has to be Haku's child. I wonder how he looked at her age." They stopped talking and walked straight to the bath house, it was still early morning. She got in the bath house, there Yunas and frogs were making a fuss, but before they understand she was there she saw first one of her best friends.
-LIIIINNN, she shouted the yuna turned and saw the human and the half spirit child.
-A...a human!
-A human !
-What the hell do you want here?
-Go back the way you came filthy existence!
She covered Hikari's ears with her palms.
-Excuse me, but haven't you learnt manners?! What kind of speach is that? Especially in front of a child?!
-Ummm...I
-We...
-What the?!
-S..SEN!, Lin exclaimed.
-SEN?
They looked at each other even more surprised.
-It was about time to hear it at least.
-SEN , Lin hugged her.
-Who...who is she? Lin asked staring at Hikari.
-I'll explain you later; we first need to leave from here before they wake up from the shock.
-You're right let's go to Kamaji.
They walked for a while and opened the door.
-Yo, Kamaji you have visitors. Some really nostalgic ones.
-Who are they? I don't have time to waste!
-Guess who? Chihiro said
-Don't tell me Chi..Chihiro! God look at you, you've grown to be such a pretty woman! He said and hugged her.
- Kamaji long time no see! She exclaimed smiling while tears of happiness formed in her eyes.
-So who is she? A girl you found in the way , a nefew, cousin or something? Lin asked curious. She actually reminds me of someone, but there's no way.
-Well guys let me introduce you my daughter, Hikari.
-WHAATT?
-Your daughter?
-Yes. Hikari say hello to aunt Lin and Kamaji oji-san.
-Hello aunt Lin and Kamaji oji-san, I'm Hikari, nice to meet you.
-Awww nice to meet you too, darling. You're so cuteee. Lin answered with a big smile.
-Nice to meet you too little one.
-Say Sen who is her father?
-Well according to her looks there aren't that many options, are there?
-So it is indeed Haku.
-Yeah. Chihiro answered with a rather sad smile.
-Hikari, why don't you try feeding the shoot balls while we talk to mum? Here like this, Lin said showing her how to spead the colourful candy on the shoot balls.
-Okay aunt Lin.
-So Sen what's up? What's with the sad look on your face?
-I just don't understand.
-What happened?
-Haku four years ago he, he came to the Human World and we met and, and you know... But after then he hasn't contacted me, he doesn't even know about I've always felt that somebody's been watching over me. She said.
-That bastard! How dares he!
-Lin watch out your language!
-Oh sorry Sen...
-Well if that's the case, I heard a rumor, Kamaji said while still working.
-What rumor? Asked both of them the same time.
-Some yunas said that Haku was prohibited to come to any kind of contact with the Human World and if he did they'd kill his most treasured person.
-But why?
-They said he'd had to wait till they came to him. He's being trying to come many times, but is always blocked.
-By who?
-Although Haku's position among the Spirits is of the highest, the're still these you'd call Gods I guess no one but the most powerful spirits have met them.
-He could've try harder you know.
-Lin in this case no matter how you look at it it's not his fault.
-Yeah whatever.
-Lin, it's okay. I'm happy just to know that it wasn't just a way to kill time for him.
-Are you okay Sen? This guy's head over heels about you. He's always been depressed ever since you left.
Her eyes light up, she was so relieved it wasn't just her having a one sided crush on him.
-Nee aunt Lin so where's he now?
-I guess he should be here anytime now.
-Really?
Hikari's heart started beating faster.
-Yeah after all now he owns half of the bath house.
-How did that happen?
-Well-
Lin was interrupted from the sound of someone slidding the door and another presence joined them.
Chihiro's eyes focused on him and only, so did Hikari's.
-Lin, Kamaji I'm back-
He saw her after so long, after so many times of dreaming the day he'd seen her again, she was in front of him. She'd grown up more beautiful and charming than last time. She now was a full fleged woman. Those days of despair had come to an end.
And then he saw her, the little girl next to her. The moment his jade eyes caught her own pair his heart fluttered as if he was falling in love over and over again. It felt like he knew her for so long. He felt that if he was to be seperated from both of them his heart would tear to pieces. She was a mysterious presence, as if she was holding a second key to his heart, just like Chihiro. In her, he could she himself. He felt moved, withoun noticing tears began forming in his eyes. Love at first sight for sure, yet not the same love he felt for the young woman next to her.
The moment she saw him, she knew it was him, her hero, the person she longed to meet for so long, her dad. Although it was her first time seeing him, she felt like she knew him since the beginning. It felt like all her memorie were altered and he was added everywhere, on her birthday, when she felt sad and happy, when she said her first word, every single time.
The tension in the room was strong enough for them to lose track both of reality and their breath.
-Ha-Haku...you're back!
-Chihiro! The tears that had been formed finally run down his cheeks.
She run straight to his hug.
He breathed her nostalgic fragrance.
-You can't imagine how much I missed you! He whispered softly in her ear.
She simply nodded and tried to persuade herself that this wasn't a dream. Tears fell down her cheeks.
She broke their hug, stared him in the eyes and gave him a peck on the lips. She then kneeled to be on Hikari's height.
-Haku I want you to meet you someone, she said with a small smile on her lips.
He stared at the little girl who was about to cry.
He kneeled as well.
They kept gazing at each other's eyes, examing them. He knew what Chihiro was going to say before even breathing.
-Haku, this is our daughter, Hikari. More tears of happiness filled her eyes. Hiakri sweetie, this is your dad Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi.
Haku's mind was a mess yet he felt blessed, blessed and extremely happy, not leaving any room for his upcoming regret.
He slowly offered Hikari his hand. She took a step forward and grabbed it. He then immediately pulled her in a tight hug.
-I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, daddy wasn't there when you needed him. He said. The tears were now uncontrollably running down his face.
Hikari then broke her silence, as she began sobbbing and crying, finally letting it out.
-It's-it's okay papa was always there, I-I could feel it. She managed to say in between.
Chihiro felt overjoyed, this moment, she had only seen it her dreams and now it was their reality. It was too much of joy, that supressed all the sad moments of those four years.
She suddenly felt a pair of hands on her shoulders, she turned her head to see who was it and came across Lin's face.
-It's okay now Sen, everything will be alright. She assured her with a kind smile.
Chihiro nodded placing her hands on Lin's.
Kamaji stared at the four obviously moved, admiring how the pure love of two kids evolved in a beautiful family.
Haku broke his hug with his daughter and moved to Chihiro took her hand, then kneeled down kindly placed his hand on Hikari's small palm and trasported them, to what it seems to be his own private room.
The next time they opened their eyes they were sitting on a king sized bed.
They all smiled to each other.
-Chihiro, I'm so sorry, I didn't want to leave you all alone yet, I couldn't do a single thing.
-It's okay Haku I was informed about it. What matters is that we're together now.
-Mama is right. After all Papa you can just make it up for it, by having lots and lots of fun with us. Hikari said shownig her dad, the first smile to ever recieve from his newly found daughter.
He returned the smile with one of his own.
-I'll definitely do it! Trust me!
-Haiiii :)
-I'll just wait and see, Chihiro said giving him a peck on the lips.
16-10-2014 So hey my lovely reviewers it's been a long while and I decided I don't want to give up on this story so I'm currently editing it and I actually changed quite a lot of parts and also corrected a couple of spellings too... So I was reading your reviews and I felt that I needed to do this so here we go once again :) Again Thank you so much for your reviews you guys are the best! :D
