Wheezed breathing. That's all she heard. The wheezing sound of the man she saw as a guardian was the only thing filling the eight year old girl's mind. She gripped the gun, tears streaming down her face as she aimed it.
"Leeā¦.Please,"she pleaded with the man, staring down at him. He wasn't going to answer,it was too late for answers now. So taking a deep breathe in she pulled the trigger. It was hard to do it,not that she couldn't but the sight of the man she had grown accustomed to dead..It pained her. No. No not 'pained',it tortured her. It made her feel agony. Nothing this little girl has felt before.
"I am so sorry Clem,I wish I could have protected you,"that was the last thing going through Lee's mind before a bullet did. He wished she had just ran. Clem dropped to her knees, tears wouldn't stop falling as the little girl cried and cried, she tried shaking him awake but nothing worked. It wasn't until she had to leave that she realize how much noise she had made. Zombies were everywhere. She couldn't escape without looking off and getting bit. She tried. Clementine tried. In the end Christa and Omid waited for three days. Not a word. Nothing came for them,no one. In the city they found the little girl, she had..Been turned. Horror. That was all Christa and Omid felt at the sight of the little girl they were supposed to take care of walking around with the dead. They had to shoot her. It was over for her now. It was all over.
