A beast reborn

Claws marking the earth
Flame in his very core
Pyres his whole being
Last of the predestined race
The first of many
Creatures of hellfire and darkness
Teeth cutting through metal
Jagged incisors and canines
Fangs stained with vital lifeblood
A creature from beyond
Nor holy or demonic
But of time itself
The first of many
Of one mind in threshold
His brethren
All but a memory
With demons swirling in mercurial dreams
Where corruption reigns supreme
He is but one of them
Not a demon or spirit or an angel
But a beast amongst them
